I walked into school with Alice and Lacey, to our homeroom class. Study hall today, thank god. Gym is probably my worst subject. Another basic day, at this stupid basic school. We grabbed our binders and walked to study hall. A boring hour of reading later, we all left for science. Today was another day when Mrs. Barnes, the science teacher, wouldn't stop talking. "Blah blah blah this blah blah that blah blah stuff you already know blah" basically, that's science class. When she finally shut the hell up, it was 9:30, time for English. We all grabbed our stuff and went to ELA. And then, of course, Mrs. Clark wouldn't shut up either. At least the book we're reading in class is interesting. "The Lightning Thief". Of course, I've already read it, so I know exactly what happens. "Roselyn! Stop daydreaming!" Mrs. Clark's annoying voice snapped me back to reality. "Uhh... Sorry. I just kinda... Spaced out" I muttered. The most annoying boy in class, Andrew, snickered. I had to force myself not to snap a rude reply to him. "Ok, it's 10:50, I'll see you all tomorrow!" Mrs. Clark said as we all got up and left. "Thank GOD" Lacey to me and Alice as soon as we got into the hallway "I can't stand that little troll. She's too short and annoying for my liking" she snickered. Alice and I laughed as well, entering the homeroom class. We grabbed our lunch boxes and headed off to computers. "Rosie, you have no IDEA how much I hate ms. Gatto. She's a little troll too" Alice complained to me. I couldn't help but laugh. "Roselyn," ms. Gatto snarled "what's so funny?". I can't stand this lady. I swear. "Um, noting ms gatto. Just, um, it happens randomly sometimes. I didn't mean to." I lied. She glared at me and nodded, letting me and Alice go in. "Troll" I muttered. We sat at the computers and typed whatever random crap that the teacher wanted us to, and by 11:25 we were out of there, and off to lunch. We sat at our normal table and started eating, with Jenna and Hope. "Rosie, you're tie came undone" Hope giggled. Oh yeah, I didn't mention the school uniforms. A white dress shirt, black leggings, and a navy blue tie. I smiled and fixed it. "Probably cuz she was fiddling with it during ELA again" Lacey said, taking a bite out of her sandwich. Lunch finished, and back to classes. Math was easy and fast as ever, at least Miss. T is nice. 7th period is just to catch up on extra work, which none of us had. We sat around until it was time for free computer time, playing the same game we always do- ghost hunters. 2:40, time for academic support, which none of us need.

2:50. Time to get the hell out of school. Me, Jenna, and Hope walked to my house, where both my parents were at work. They stayed for a few minutes then left, leaving me by myself. I did my homework, then just went on my phone for a while.

5:00: dad is home! He walked in and sat on the couch with me, asking about my day and how I was doing. He let me get on the computer, but only until 5:30 when mom gets home. Minecraft!! I played, just wandering around in my random world until mom got home. I turned off the computer and put it away, pretending to be reading so mom wouldn't yell at me. Dad greeted her at the door with a kiss. I greeted her with a glare. I went upstairs until dinner, ate in silence and then back upstairs. 10:00, I went to bed, the light tap of rain on the window putting me to sleep.

It wasn't until 2am I woke up to hear my parents screaming again. I sighed. Almost every night, they fought until my mom leaves and goes to the bar. My dad came upstairs and went to bed as well, and I quickly fell back asleep.
