As soon as I got on the bus, Lacey was getting bullied my three older boys, who i had no idea who they were. They were big and bulky, as well as ugly. Typical bullies. They were saying some pretty bad stuff, things that I've never even heard before. "Stupid little girl brought a friend today, eh?" One of them snickered. The other two just nodded and smiled, as if they were about to beat her up. The smug looks on they're faces changed quickly.

A truck slammed into the side of the bus, tipping it on its side and sending everyone across the bus. Younger kids screamed in fear. Older kids screamed in fear. Kids my age screamed in fear. Everyone was screaming. Police sirens. Ambulance sirens. Yells of help from by passers. I turned my head and saw Lacey staring at me, wide-eyed. I couldn't feel my left arm. Little black spots blocked most of my vision. And then, black. Just black.

I woke up and looked around to see Jenna, hope, dad, Lacey, and a nurse sitting near the bed. Wait... Where am I? Then it hit me: the bus, the crash, blacking out. I'm in a hospital. "How long have I been here for!?" I asked, demanding for an answer. "Almost two weeks, sweetie" the nurse said. "T-two weeks..?" I said shakily. I don't remember the crash being that bad, but I do remember the shocking pain in my arm and head, which seemed to be almost gone now. "You broke your arm and blacked out because of blood loss," the nurse said, handing me some water "but we fixed you up good, and you can leave in 3 days" she said in that annoying voice every nurse seems to have. I nodded and took a drink of the water. I yawned, suddenly tired, despite being asleep for two weeks.

I woke up again, rather well rested and awake. My friends had left for school, but dad had stayed with me all night. His eyes were bloodshot from no sleep, and he obviously needed to shower. "Dad, go home and clean yourself up. You look like a skunk who hasn't slept in weeks." I half joked. He really does though, I thought. He nodded and stood up, kissing me on the forehead. "I grabbed your favorite books and movies, you have 3 days worth of stuff to do in here" he said before leaving. I smiled and had the nurse put in the lion king, my favorite movie. I watched it and had lunch, feeling more and more better. Hopefully these next three days would go by fast.

But boy, was I wrong.
