Chances

Chap. 3: drama

I walked into school again like any normal day. But only to find out that my crush, a boy named Alex, had moved away, one of my other friends, willow, was moving as well. I know it's not much, but it's a lot to take in. All before the first bell rang, too. Let's see what today brings me. 

     Lunch. It's always lunch. Always. I sat down, and Hope was either crying or laughing, I couldn't tell which. "
"Hope? What happened?" I asked. She looked up at me, her eyes bloodshot and cheeks wet with tears. "That idiot who thought dating would be a good idea 5 months ago, decided to change his mind today" she sniffled. "I'm gonna beat him up. " Jenna growled, looking over at him and his friends. "No your not, Jenna.." Hope said. "Yes, yes I am. I will give him what he deserves and that is a good punch in the mouth." Jenna concluded. That's her way of saying ' it's ok, you'll get over him, your too good for him anyways'. But she's a bit protective. The lunch bell rang and we were out of school.

        For some reason, a lady came into math class and gave me a note, saying I would be riding the bus home with Lacey today. I shrugged and put the note on my desk, going back to the quiz we were working on.

    Never will I do that again. We had kickball today for 8th period, because the computers were getting fixed. But then, we got back to the homeroom for academic support, and I was fiddling with my tie again, but the teacher snapped at me and told me to read or I would be useless in this classroom. I couldn't stop myself. "Well soooorry that you never told me to get a book in the beginning of class. You know, I think that I would be useless in here without a book, but wouldn't everyone, considering all the teacher does is play on his iPad!" I snapped. It's a good thing it was last period or I would be sitting in the principals office right now.

I got on the bus, and disaster struck.
