Student's faces blur past me as I past them in the hall. I glance behind me to make sure he isn't near. The lock clicks when I open locker to get my books for my last period at Rosewood High. I glance to my left in fear. No sight of the dominate male. When I sigh from relief, the metal door slams shut in my face. The books in my hand get smacked to the floor. Booming laughter fills the hallway, laughter I recognize.
"Hey mutt! " his raspy voice speaks. "What. Do. You. Want, Michael? " I say through my clenched teeth.
"You look a little pissed. What's wrong baby girl? " he smirks.
"Don't call me that. " I sigh. Michael and his friends wander off as I pick up my books.
"Dick" I mutter.
"Wow wow wow! Foul language. " my best friend's cheery voice exclaims dramatically. I can't fight the smile. "Hey. Sorry. " I laugh.
"Michael? " she asks.
"Yup. " my eyes roll.
"He's a douche. " she grunts.
"Uh yeah. I know, Nicole. " we walk down the hallway, which is clearing.
"So what's going on this weekend? " Nicole asks.
"My parents are going on some kind of trip with some people till schools out. " I wave my hand in a not-so-important way.
"2 whole weeks?! " she exclaims.
"Yup. But that means the house to myself and-"
"Hunter " she finishes.
"Yeah! I'm so excited. " I squeal.
"Well tonight, wanna go to the mall? There's a sale at Deb. I want to get a dress for prom. " her eyes light up at the four letter word.
"Uh, yeah. Sure. " I smile as the bell rings for last period.

"Isn't this dress so cute? And with these heel? Ugh I'm gonna look so cute at the dance! " Nicole watches herself in the full-length mirror. I roll my eyes and go through the rack I'm front of me.
We pay for our items and walk out of the store. Walking down the corridor, we come upon Aeropostale.
"Can we? " I plead.
" whatever. Their having a sale anyways. " Nicole sighs and walks through the open doors.
"Hey baby. " I say.
"Hey precious. " Hunter smiles.
"What are you doing later? " I ask, kissing him.
"Ummm, whatever you want to do. " he says.
"Great! My parents will be gone this weekend till summer break! " I smirk.
"Is that so? " he asks.
"Mmhhmm! So Ill be home, so alone and bored! " I begin to pout.
"That's gonna have to be fixed! " his lips meet my neck.
"Shaeleigh! Lets go! " Nicole shouts impatiently. I kiss my boyfriend goodbye and follow her.
