I had finally made it to the ice spike biome and went directly to my little snow covered shack. Steve was still following me. I opened the door and let him come inside. I emptied my bag on the small table in a corner and opened a few chests.
"Don't steal anything while my back is turned." I said. Steve nodded and sat down in a chair at the table. I dug in a chest and pulled out some healing potions, extra bullets, and some food. I laid the stuff on the table and closed the chest. I opened another and put in my useless stuff. I kept the dark fragment and the bright cube. I stuffed my stuff in my satchel and sat down.
The awkward silence.
"So where are you from?" Steve suddenly asked.
"Far away. Near the ocean." I said. "The first place that was attacked during the war by Brineary." This conversation was getting realy depressing realy fast.
"Where's your family?" He asked.
"I don't know. Most likely dead." I said and remembered what my mum told me before I ran. "She told me to get as far away from there as possible. No mater what, keep running. And so I did. I soon found out that they were in a prison camp. One of Brinearys followers told me to get something and then they'll let my parents go. She didn't say what would happen if I didn't." I put my chin on the table.
"What did you need to get?" He asked. What's with this guy and questions?
"Herobrines sword. The Grudge blade." I said simply. "When I got to his place, I had gotten the sword, but didn't make it out with the sword. Herobrine caught me and laid a grudge, or curse, on me. It holds to this day. You wanna see?" I asked. Steve nodded. I reached to the botom of my shirt and pulled it up, exposing the dragon-like scar. His eyes widened. I put down my shirt and looked at him.
"It's not that bad, honestly." I said. "I can turn into a dragon, but I can't control its movements, attacks, or when it comes back. When I returned, my parents weren't there. So I think they're most likely dead." Steve stepped away and sat down again.
"So that's who he meant." I heard him mumble.
"What?"
"Hm? Oh, nothing." He said. I knew he was hiding something. I looked outside to see that a blizard had begun through the only small window.
"A blizard's starting." I said. "Do you want to stay here until it's over?" I asked.
"Sure." He replied.
"There's only one bed. Do you want it?" I asked and jestured to the small blue bed in the corner.
"No no. It's fine. You can have it." He said with a smile. I shrugged and sat on the edge of the bed.

I snuggled into bed and looked up at Soul. He took care of me when daddy couldn't.
"Soul?" I asked.
"Yes?" He asked.
"What was daddy and Bwinawy speaking about? They said something about a war." I asked. Soul tensed up, but then relaxed.
"It's nothing for your generation to worry about. It's fine." He said and pulled the covers up on me. He said 'Good night.' and walked out the door. I laid in silence for a while until I fell asleep.
(Dream)
I sat in a black space with zeros and ones floating by. I heard a voice.
You must warn her.
Warn the chosen.
Warn her.
Or else chaos will befall our world.
Please.
Or my sacrifice will be nothing.
I cannot stay.
But please.
Warn the one with a dragon scar.
Please.
Now wake up...Wake up...
WAKE UP!
(Reality)
I shot awake and looked around. I was in my room. My normal room. I didn't know what the voice meant. But it was just a dream. I was sure it meant nothing. I quickly fell back asleep...

I was surrounded by darkness on all sides. I saw a figure up ahead and walked towards it. It was a guy dressed in a red, yellow, and grey outfit. He looked so much like Brineary in so many ways that the resemblance was weird. His eyes, instead of the electrical blue, were red and his hair was white. In all other ways, he looked the same as Brineary.
"Who are you?" I asked. The guy looked around and then down at me.
"I don't have much time, kid. Now. I know that you know about Brineary, so I'll explain this simply. Promise me that you-! Augh!" He stopped mid sentence and fell to his knees, grasping his head.
"What?" I asked. He looked at me. His eyes were glowing fierce.
"Wake up... Now... Before he... Aah!" He seemed to be in real pain. He stood up quickly and glared at me. "Ch-chosen one... Please... F-forgive me for this..." He said in a strangled voice. Before I knew what was going on, he thwacked the side of my head with his fist and everything went black.
(Reality)
I opened my eyes slowly and looked around. Steve was laying on a chest, acting like it was a bed, and the storm outside seemed to calm. I felt the side if my head that the person hit me on. Nothing was there. No bump, no blood, nothing. It was just a dream, so it made sense. I yawned and looked out the window until Steve woke up.
