Chapter 7:I'll protect you

Connors Pov

After I dropped Sarah off on the side of the road I started to head back to the hospital,until I realized that Danny probably wouldn't want me there because I ditched her.So before I went to the hospital I ran to the store and bought some nutella and then I got some Chinese food for us.

After I made it back to the hospital I grabbed the food and started to walk in.Although it wad quite hard to hide the food without getting caught.I eventually made it back to Danny's room,I got enough courage and I knocked on the door"come in"She said quietly and I walked in abd she scowled at me.

"Oh it's you...hey are you"She said sounding disappointed and I interrupted her."Danny please just forgive me...I broke up with sarah....I got you nutella and I got Chinese"I said and she smiled"dummy you didn't let me finish...I was going to say,are you going to share that with me?"She chuckled and I nodded.

I grabbed out some teriyaki chicken and some frog legs and I gave her one of the bowls with fried rice in it and I gave her some frog legs and she smiled."Honestly after four years...I don't know how you still know me so well"then I gave her a fork and she began digging into her fried rice like a piggy"oink oink"I joked and she set the rice down and she looked at her stomach"do you really think I'm fat?"She asks and my smile faded

"No no Danny of course not...I think your beautiful...just perfect"I answered and she sighed"I'm not hungry any more"She said sadly and I frowned"I was joking with you....why won't you eat?"I asked and she sighed"because when we go back to school....everything will go back to normal and I'll get called fat ugly....stupid,whore,pig,worth less....and I don't want to be any bigger than I am already"She answered and I shook my head.

"Danny if people can't see that you are pretty inside and out then they are blind.....and no everything won't go back to normal,because I'll be protecting you"I said and she hugged me"so you'll make sure nobody hurts me?"she asked and I nodded"yes...I promise"and she squeezed me"okay then let's eat again...I'm starrrrving"She chuckled and then picked up her rice and began eating it again.
