Chapter 5:Friends again?

Danny's Pov

All I saw was darkness nothing else.The last thing I remembered was Connor chasing my from school and then it all went black.I couldn't open my eyes but I heard voices a very familiar one and another unknown one.

After what felt like a few minutes later,I opened my eyes and looked up realizing I was in a hospital.I looked around and finally at my bed side to see a very sleep deprived Connor at my bed side.It looked like he hadn't slept in a while.

He looked up at me and I could see the bags under his eyes,that's when he ran to me and he put his arms around me and pulled my in for a hug.

"C-Connor what are you doing....where am i?"I asked him and he took a step away from me"your in the hospital Danny....you were hit by a car"he answered with a sad expression."You wouldn't stop running and I couldn't warn you in time it's all my fault"he said and looked down.

"Don't worry I'll....be fine"I said and then a doctor walked in"no you won't be"she said and I looked at her name tag or said Samantha then I tilted my head"why not?"I asked and she frowned"you got hit by a car and you have two broken ribs and one fractured one...and you also broke your leg....your lucky to be alive....,if it weren't for your friend here calling us,you'd be dead"

she said and my jaw dropped and I looked at Connor and I smiled slightly"you'll be in here for two weeks and then you'll be at home on bed rest for at least two more weeks"she added and I nodded.Then she walked out.

I looked over at Connor"why did you save me?"I asked and he smiled slightly."because you're my best friend and I care about you"he said and smiled,and I frowned"but I thought you hated me....and if you don't....why did you bully and abuse me?"I asked and he shrugged"I bullied you because i....I don't know..."he said"b-but I want to be your friend again....and I want to protect you"

"Connor it's been four years and....I don't think I can forgive you"I said and then he sighed"I know Danny....but please,give me another chance....I promise I'll make it up to you"he said and then I nodded"fine....but if you mess it up....I can't and won't ever forgive you"I said and then he kissed my cheek and I blushed

"thank you so much danny"he smiled and I giggled a bit"oh and I got you something"he said and he handed me a big Mac and I grinned"oh my gosh I love you Connor...thanks!!"I said and then he smiled as I munched on my burger like one of the three little piggies."you're still the same Danny I remember"he said and I nodded"and you still remember my feel better foods"I giggled and he nodded"I'd never forget....you're my little panda bear"he said and I froze remembering something and my head started pounding.
