Chapter 4:Hope

Connors Pov

~After School~

After school had ended I went straight home because I was extremely tired,so then when I got home I layed on my bed and as soon as I hit the pillow I fell asleep.

A few hours later I started having a nightmare it was about....Danny and all around us it was white walls.As I made my way to her I saw that she had blood all around her,and that's when I panicked and ran to her and knelt down beside her.

She turned to me with teared stained eyes"you did this...I hope you're happy Connor!"she said and then she closed her eyes and didn't open them again.Then I put her head on my arm"danny....d-Danny please wake up"I pleaded but she didn't move and then I heard voices yelling to me from all directions."you did this connor!!","you killed her!!","you monster!!","she was your best friend and you did this to her!!"they yelled.

Then I moved hair out of Danny's face and I began crying"Danny I'm so sorry"I said and then a voice said"sorry 's wont bring her back"it said and I kept crying.Then I woke up and I wiped my tears off my face and I walked downstairs for some water.

Then after I drank my water I went back to my bedroom and I grabbed my phone and I called Danny....I've always had her number.Then she picked up"hello?"she asked and I smiled hearing she was okay"hey Danny"I said and smiled and I heard her gasp"Connor?...w-why are you calling me?"...."is it a prank!?"she asked and I quickly answered"no no..,I just want to talk to my best friend"I said ,and I could hear her sighing"I'm not your friend anymore...I'm your bully victim...,you always cause me pain and I can't trust you anymore"she said and then she hung up on me and I sighed.

"Oh Danny....I'm sorry"I said to myself and then I stayed awake the rest of the night thinking about how I could make it up to her.The following morning I woke up and I got dressed in a black my chemical romance shirt and a pair of black jeans and black converse.

Then I hopped in my car and I made my way to a small flower shop and I bought some white and yellow roses.Then I got back in my car and I drove to the school and then I walked into the school.After I checked to make sure Sarah wasn't there I walked to Danny's locker and then I opened it and put in the roses with a note I wrote,then I closed her locker and ran to meet my friends behind the school.

Later that day I was at lunch with Sarah on my lap and my friends all around me and then someone tapped my shoulder and I turned and looked.It was Danny,that's when she the flowers I got her at me."We will not be friends ever again Connor....and I hope you're happy with a slut as a girlfriend because she slept with Tucker Peterson",she said and then one of my friends punched her and kicked her then she got up and ran off crying,and I ran after her.

"Danny please wait"I said an I ran after her but she wouldn't stop then she ran out of the school.She looked back at me and saw I was still following her,so she kept running.That's when she ran into the road and a car just came and hit her and it kept driving.

I ran to her side and saw she was unconscious,but still breathing.Then I pulled out my phone and dialed 911"911 what is your emergency?"a woman asked and I started crying"my best friend got hit by a car but she's still alive....barley"I said and then lady typed somethings"okay where are you now sir?"she asked and I answered"colt valley high school!"I said and she typed"okay we've sent an ambulance,it's on its way...just stay with her until it gets there"she said and then hung up.

A few minutes the later the ambulance came and loaded her onto the ambulance I tried to get in,but the man wouldn't let me"family only"he said and then he closed the doors and the ambulance drove off.Then I got in my car and followed it to the hospital.
