Percy POV
Why were they here?! Why?! Jasper must have sensed me freaking out, because he came over and put his hand on my shoulder. "Hey Perce, are you ok?" His golden eyes flashed with worry. I guess I should explain. My new family, the Cullens, were vampires.
Currently, the members of our vegetarian, hah hah, inside joke, family were Carlisle, Edward, Esme, Rosalie, Emmett, Alice, Jasper, and me. Bella, who was still human, might join us eventually. Oh yeah. I Some of also have powers. Edward can read minds, Alice can see into the future, Jasper can manipulate (I used a big word! Annabeth would be proud!) emotions, and I can do a lot of things. I mean, I kept all of my demigod powers (controlling most liquids, creating my own personal hurricane, breathing underwater, talk to fish and horses, somewhat resistant to fire, lava, etc., cause earthquakes, and swordsmanship isn't really a power) except for dyslexia and so far, I also got control over air/wind, ice and frost, vapor travel, and mind shielding. Of course, I don't have much mastery over the mind shielding bit, so sometimes, Edward can read my mind. Sometimes. But basically, I'm loaded with power and the perfect looks of a vampire.
"Yeah. I'm good, Jasper," I lied. He and Edward frowned.
"No you're not, Percy Cullen. I can read your mind, if you don't remember." Edward tapped his head. I tried putting up a mental shield, but it didn't work. Stupid mind reader. Edward raised an eyebrow but said nothing. I sighed.
"Fine. It's those two exchange students at Bella's place. I use to know them." Someone gasped. We turned to see Bella standing in front of the living room door in shock. It's surprising how we didn't hear her come in. We have enhanced vampire hearing for Hades' sake! Edward looked at me strangely. Oh yeah. I forgot he didn't know much about the gods. 'I'll tell you later' I thought. I swear on Poseidon's underpants his eyebrows disappeared into his hair.
"You mean, you know Thalia and Nico?" I nodded. "Because they're in my car right now." Oh, that's not good.
"They're my cousins." This time, I managed to raise and hold the shield, so both Jasper and Edward looked at me, completely shocked. Like Thalia. Ugh. Stupid ADHD! "So, yeah. Can I, like, skip school for a couple months?" Carlisle walked into the room.
"No. You can't miss school for a few months. People would be suspicious. Besides, they'll find you eventually whether you like it or not." I huffed. I can stay hidden if I want to. Edward smiled.
"Of course you can." I frowned. The shield had dropped again. Oh well. I'm probably going to have to work on that. Edward nodded. "Yes you do." I shivered. Sometimes, he can be really creepy when he answers your thoughts. "Yes I can."
"Would you stop that?" I snapped. He snickered. Argh. Frustrating mind reader. Then I smiled. I showed him an image of part of the Second Giant War. He recoiled in horror. Ha-ha. I smiled wryly.
"Umm, hello? I hate to break up your mind games, but you guys need to hurry up. Everyone else is already in the car." Bella said. I looked at her.
"Oh come on! You know I like riding my bike!" By bike, I meant a pitch black motorcycle with sea green highlights. Her engines were practically silent and she went as fast as the winds at full speed. Maybe even faster. In short, my motorcycle is amazing.
"Not today. If you want to keep a low profile, get in the car," Bella called back as she walked towards her old truck. Nuh uh. I don't care about low profile if it means I can't ride my bike. I stuck my tongue out at her laughing as I ran past her to my awesome bike. Besides, they were in the car. They would know it was me as soon as I stepped into the car. I put on my helmet, it matches my bike, and got on. 'Hurry up or I'm leaving you guys in the dust!' I yelled in my mind. I'm guessing he heard me, because Bella stepped on it. We raced out of the driveway. On the short ride to school, I managed to show Edward my life as demigod. He was next to the window, so I could see his reactions. I rode into the school parking lot and tried to get my bike secured as fast as possible. 3 2 1... Gah! Rabid fangirls! Run! Edward and everyone else laughed as I skidded to a stop in front of them, my helmet still on.
"Ugh, why am I always the one who gets attacked by rabid fangirls?" I complained.
"It's because you insist on coming to school on your motorcycle." Edward said as everyone else failed at not laughing. "You are also single."
"I already have a girlfriend who's amazing!" I whined as I took off my helmet.

Thalia POV
Bella woke us up at about six for some reason. I stumbled down the stairs, still sleepy. "So do we have class really early or something?" Bella looked up from cooking omelets.
"No. I just forgot to tell you that I'm picking up my boyfriend's family today." Oh. Seriously? This is why I'm a Hunter of Artemis. I shuddered at the thought of a boyfriend. Ugh. No thank you. Nico came tumbling down the stairs.
"Ow! That hurt!" he groaned.
"What? Did you fall asleep again going down the stairs, Neeks?" I teased.
"No and don't call me that!" he snapped. We ate breakfast in silence.
"So, who's your boyfriend?" I asked. Nico nearly choked.
"You don't know him yet, but his name is Edward. He's really protective of me, though, because I have a knack for getting in trouble." I laughed at the last part.
"You should meet our other cousin, Percy. You two are a lot alike," I said, not thinking. I froze. Nico paled, which is pretty much impossible because he's already naturally pale. Bella just looked confused.
"Did something happen to him?" she asked cautiously. I nodded.
"We don't know where he is right now. He went missing five months ago. We don't even know if he's still alive." Bella gasped.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't know."
"It's okay. We would have told you eventually." Nico nodded. "So, should we get going?"
"Yeah." We left the house and climbed into her big truck. We drove into the driveway of a large, luxurious house. Nico's jaw dropped. So did mine.
"Wow. They must be really rich," I said weakly. Bella nodded.
"Wait here. I'll be right back." She came back in a few minutes with... wow. The six people with her were literally smoking hot models and looked like runaway super stars in normal street clothes. One of them, who looked familiar, broke off laughing and disappeared into the garage and came back out with a black motorcycle with sea green highlights. I felt a pang in my chest. They were the same color as Percy's eyes. The other five piled into the truck. A girl with a pixie cut spoke up.
"Hi! I'm Alice. This is Edward, Rosalie, Emmett, and Jasper!" Alice said cheerfully.
"Um, hi," Nico and I stuttered. The rest of them climbed in without a word. Come on! Say something! Throughout the entire ride, Edward, the one sitting next to the window, kept making strange faces. Amusement, horror, grief, bashfulness, and a lot of other emotions that I couldn't make out. When we got to the school, the first thing we all noticed was a mass of girls crowded around someone. That someone managed to push his way out of the crowd and ran towards us looking very ruffled. We all couldn't help but laugh.
"Ugh, why am I always the one who gets attacked by rabid fangirls?" he complained. That voice is very familiar.
"It's because you insist on coming to school on your motorcycle," Edward said seriously. We all burst out laughing again. "You are also single."
"But I already have an awesome girlfriend," he whined. And with that, he took off his helmet. Nico and I froze. So did he.
"Percy," I breathed, not believing my eyes as I stared at the disheveled green-eyed boy who had gone missing five months ago.
