Stella's POV

Annabeth was on her Athena-Pad looking things to cure Thalia's tree.
"Necklace of Harmonia, Hecules bow, Golden Apple of Discord. Three millennia of gods and demigods, you'd think that someone would have come up with something to cure Thalia's tree" Annabeth said getting irritated. "Persephone did come up with Miracle-Gro. Maybe we can try that." Grover suggested. "That's it" I said scrolling down to where I needed to be on the Pad. "Right here" I said Grover turned around looking at the pad. "That is not gonna cure Thalia's tree, so much as get us all killed.Me in particular" he said terrified.  "It's perfect! It's exactly what we need" I said standing up, Annabeth beside me. "We're taking this to Mr. D" Annie said dragging me to Mr. D. "No-ugh!" Grover said catching up to us.

-Le Time Skip-

"It's totally out of the question" Mr. D yelled. "If you could just listen to us for one moment...." Annabeth said. "I am listening! You want to go on a quest. Oh! It must be Thursday" "We're serious. Im absolutely sure this is going to work" I said holding the Pad in my hands. Mr. D sighed and poured wine "It was such a good year" "The Golden Fleece can heal any living person or thing, including Thalia's tree" I said placing the pad on the desk. "We heal the tree, we restore the barrier around camp." Annabeth said placing her hands on her hips. "I'm surprised you want to go along with these two on this, Mr. Undershirt" Mr. D said to Grover. "Underwood" Grover pronounced for Mr. D. "Every Saytr who had ever gone after the Fleece has died" "Right? I mentioned that to them" Annabeth shoved Grover with her shoulder. I glared at him and then lifted my eyebrows in a questioning look. "But it's a risk I'm willing to take for the sake of the camp" he said ending with a smile. Mr. D rolled his eyes while sighing. "Look, the last I heard, the Golden Fleece was in the Sea of Monsters, what the humans call the Bermuda Triangle. A place not only a satyr should be afraid of. So, the answer is no. No. I'm sorry Annabelle and Frella" Mr. D said. "Annabeth" "Stella" "Whatever. It's a terrible idea" he finished shooing us out of the office.

"I've had a grand idea. Unless Thalia's tree can be cured and the protective barrier around our camp is restored, then every demigod, centaur, satyr and nymph will be killed within days, if not sooner" Mr. D said. "Hey you okay?" I heard Tyson ask Percy. "Don't worry, camp will be okay. You gotta have faith right?" He finished off. "But unfortunately, I have considered the matter. And after great study, I have determined that the only thing that ha the power to save Thalia's tree, and therefore our home, is the Golden Fleece of myth... " Mr. D said while pointing to the picture to be revealed. "What!?!" Annabeth and I yelled at the same time. ".... Whose touch....can heal every person and everything" he said reading off of his hand. I rolled my eyes sighing. "So, a quest, a mission of mercy, if you will, into uncharted and deadly waters, with nothing less at stake than our own survival. Now a satyr is naturally drawn, as you know, to the power of the Fleece. And therefore, it must be a satyr who will guide a half blood on this quest" "thanks a lot" Grover said sarcastically to Annabeth and I. "Ichneutae!" Mr. D shouted pointing at the satyr. He stood up while Mr. D asked him "Will you guide the champion?" "Oh yeah" ugh great Mr. Arrogant. "Good. Great! That's great" Mr. D said while everyone clapped. Grover was the most enthusiastic. "As to who the champion might be, our plight calls for only our finest hero. The best of us, the strongest and the bravest. The scion of the God of war, Clarisse!" Mr. D yelled. Said girl stood up and everyone clapped for her, I didn't. Percy deserves this not her. "Her name, he gets right" Grover said to us. We all got up and walked out of the coliseum. "Hey, Clarisse, Clarisse!" Percy yelled chasing after her. "What? Oh" she said turning around to Percy. "Don't worry about always coming in second, Jackson. You get used to it. I think right? Obviously, I wouldn't know. " she said  mocking him. "Listen, Luke is still out there. He's involved with the Fleece somehow, and I got a feeling he's not done yet." Percy warned her. "Really? Because I got a feeling that I really don't care" she yelled. I wanted to cry but kept it in keeping a straight face. "Gosh don't look so wounded" she told Percy. "Listen, the are generals, and there are foot soldiers. You should feel lucky you even made it  into the army at all. Just try not to screw up anything too badly while I'm gone. Okay?" She asked him. "Let's go" Clarisse said to Ichneutea. They left and we all went our separate ways. Annabeth patted percy on te back while I hugged him walking away.
