Kiera was always attracted to James. The boy with blue eyes. Just from far away you could see it. See how blue and deep the color goes down his irises. It was beautiful for Kiera. But she would always have to see his eyes in a distance. Far away from her.

Today, was a miracle. James was alone at the end if class. His eyes were as blue as ever. The oceanic color of his eyes never ends, like the bottomless sea. Kiera could go on and on about his eyes.

But his eyes were filled with salty tears. She wondered why. Why would James cry alone at his seat once the coast was clear. She had come back to grab her English notebook and seeing James there stopped her from her tracks.

She suddenly had the courage to speak to him, even if this was the last and the first time. "James, are you alright?" Kiera asks. James looked at her, shocked. "What are you doing here?" He asks, his accent a beautiful melody to Kiera's ears. But hearing his voice frail and weak made it like a beautiful song in the piano, but pressed the wrong keys and it turns to a mess.

"To get my English notebook, you?" She asks trying to contain herself form hugging him and bring James out of his grief. "I'm just...I can trust you right?" He asks his eyes was looking at desk.

"Yes of course!" She says almost too happily. She took time to recompose herself and said again "Of course, James.". James looked at her. His eyes' color was burning into Kiera's green ones.

"I want to make her happy, but I can't. I want to give Rose happiness. I just can't seem to do so. Our relationship is going in a graph that goes up and down. I don't want it to stop at down and end there." He says.

BOOM! Guess what? Kiera's heart just exploded. She tried to smile, and she taught of a quick answer. "Just give her flowers. Make her smile. Be the most cliché you will ever be. That tends to work if you're a corny Disney prince, she most probably laugh." She says.

James lightens up and smiles at her. "Thank you! Maybe that will work. I mean she does watch Disney movies. Thank you Kiera!" He stands up and tackles Kiera into a bear hug, so tight. Then he rushed out the door.

-Monday-
It was Monday. Three days since Friday. The day Kiera and James' eyes looked at the other. The day their eyes finally met. Sadly, it wasn't the day he was Kiera's. There was no day he would be Kiera's. That day was torn off the calendar and burned away.

She arrived at class. Rose was there and so was James. He was saying lines from Disney Movies and singing songs from Disney too. He took Kiera's advice and it seemed to work. Rose was goofily smiling at James and they stared at one another's eyes.

There was a note on Kiera's seat though.

Kiera,
Thank you for the advice. It worked! Someday, I will repay you. You are a good friend to me. It was the first time we talked but I felt it was right to tell you. Rose is happy and I'm happy. I hope you're happy too!
James.

She sadly smiled and looked at James. He didn't bother to look back. That's when she knew. Three days ago, last Friday was the last day he would look at his eyes.

She looked at James again.

This was it.

Their eyes would never meet again.
