She Finaly Cracks

Lucy's P.O.V

"I wanted to ask you this for a long time" he said seriously.

I looked deeply into his hazel eyes. "Tell me what?" I asked

He stands up taking my hands in with his and kiss them gently.

"Lucy Jennings, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked nervously.

I laughed at his nervousness and in joy.

Brandon was shocked at my reaction, his eyes soon filled with worry.

"Don't worry, I was wondering when you would ask me silly" I giggled.

He sighed in relief and softly chuckled.

"You scared me there" he pointed to his heart smiling widely.

I smiled and pecked his lips, and soon drifted to thought about Lisa.

She has been distant lately, she would always avoid me at home and at school which worries

me the most.

Whenever I retry to talk to her she would give me a blunt answer and would walk away. 

My face cringed, as Brandon soon realized I was hurt.

"What's wrong?" He asked worriedly.

"Lisa hasn't talked to me since the beginning of school" I explained in frustration.

"Don't worry she will come around, but why is she avoiding you?"

He asked squeezing my hand to calm me.

"That's what I don't understand, lately she has been avoiding me at home and at school"

I tell him. I didn't realize I was crying until Brandon wiped away a tear that dropped.

"Lucy it's going to be okay, just give her time okay?" He asked as I nod my head.

He leans in and kisses me gently on my lips and my forehead.

"Thank you Brandon" I smile. "Anything for my love" he says sincerely.

That afternoon Brandon drove me home so I could talk to Lisa and ask her why she is avoiding

me. I walk inside and run up the stairs to Lisa's bedroom.

I walk in her room to find her crying into her pillow. I slowly sit on the edge of her bed

patting her back to calm her down.

"Lisa what's wrong?" I ask.

"Go away, Lucy" she growls into her pillow.

"Why have you been avoiding me, you are my best friend, we've been through a lot together. So I don't understand why you are avoiding me" I say frustrated.

She slowly sits up sitting on her bed, looking at me with red puffy eyes that soon makes

me cry. "It hurts to see you cry" I sob.

"I know Lucy, but please don't cry" she finally cracks.

"How can't I when you are crying over me" I say softly.

"No you don't understand, I'm crying because you finally have someone who loves you more than I do, and it's unfair. The whole school talks about how you guys at the cutest couple. Every time I date a boy they always ask about you, did you know that?" She sobs.

"No I didn't," I whisper. "But that doesn't mean that you won't find someone special, Lisa" I assure her. "You will find some that will love you just as much as I love you, maybe even more than I do," I smile.
