"Caramel frappe extra caramel." Dad, said opening the passenger door.

"And blueberry muffin for you." I giggled.

Once I was in he closed the door and went to his side.

"You gotta' stop ignorin' your mama." He told me, focusing on the road.

"I will."

"So gon' head and settle that today."

"Okay." I mumbled.

After he dropped me off at school I walked inside with Brenda. As we entered the gym my phone vibrated. I read the text from Chris and looked up.

I texted him back and sat down with Brenda. This is how our relationship been going for a week now. No one knew we were dating and I made excuses just to see him.

His friend Noella sat next to him and they shared a hug. I wasn't bothered by it until she put her legs on him and he didn't budge. I stared at them on the down low. He looked at me and I stared back. Noella looked in his direction saw me. She scrunched up her face and rolled her eyes. I did the same and I hadn't realized all my friends were here and they were watching me.

"Spill it."

"And don't lie." Justin added.

"Me and Christian date."

Their mouths dropped and looked at Christian then back at me.

"Bih stop lying." Jelena laughed.

I shrugged to their reactions and they stopped laughing. I knew they would act like this. Out of the whole group I was the only one who never had a boyfriend even Justin had a boyfriend before.

"When did this happen?" Brenda questioned.

"Last week."

"I knew it would happen, y'all always looking at each other." Brenda grinned.

"But who the hell is ole girl." Jelena asked, eyeing Noella.

"His friend, but they a little too comfy." I responded as the bell rung.

"Exactly bihh you better confront him."

"I will when you stop saying bih." I joked.

Justin laughed as we walked out the gym. "Blah, I'll see y'all at lunch." He said grabbing Jelena hand.

They walked off and me and Brenda parted ways after saying bye. I walked in the classroom and Chris came in behind me.

"Wassup?"

"Nothing." I responded, sitting down.

"What I do?" I staled faced him and he shrugged.

"You and your friend mighty close."

He smacked his teeth and sat in the chair next to me. "You gotta chill sometimes."

I looked at him like he was crazy and shook my head.

"If I'm going to be your "girlfriend" then you can't have girls all over you."
