Jack's PVO
Monday 7:45
Rolling out of bed I picked my vibrating phone off of the ground. I ran a hand over my face placing my phone to my ear.
"That only took five calls."
"Morning to you too." I flicked the lights on in the bathroom grabbing my tooth brush off of the counter.
"You better be dressed and ready to go in ten. Hurry up."
"Wait. Ali did you get the email?"
I put some toothpaste into my mouth before I started brushing. Looking in the mirror I started to fix my hair. Running my hands through it a few times.
"What email?"
"About the museum trip?"
"Um. No what did it say?"
"The trip got moved last minute."
Changing into some pants and a shirt that I found at the top of my laundry bin I finished off my water from the night before.
"Moved to when?"
Taking one of my jackets out of my closet I slid it over my arms.
"Tomorrow. So we are missing that physics test."
I walked out of my room and downstairs grabbing an apple and my bag on my way out of the house.
"Oh great. I have been studying for that for the past two days. They couldn't of just left the date alone?"
"Only you would be upset for a test being postponed."
"It isn't postponed. We are just skipping it with an excuse."
I rolled my eyes sitting down on the front steps to put on my shoes. Just as I finished Ali's white car pulled up. She drove slightly over the lawn and I laughed to myself a bit. Hanging up the phone I slid it into my back pocket before leaning over to grab my bag.
Opening the drivers door I switched places with Ali throwing my bag onto the back seat.
"The teacher will allow you to retake it whenever you want."
"But I want to take it tomorrow."
"You could always bail on the field trip." I suggested.
"Nah. I will end up regretting it."
"Okays it's final then no more complaining." I looked away from the road to smile at her grabbing her hand in my own.
"No more complaining."
