Finally a new chapter! Let me know what you think.

I was running, trying to find the caravan before the Hill people did and slaughtered them all. I didn't know what I would tell them and if they would believe me. That an army of Hills people were coming for them and that I just knew that because I saw them from through the ground. Hopefully they will be too concerned for their safety to ask how I knew about it.
I hoped I made it there before the Hill people, but I knew that would be very hard considering that they were on horseback and I was on foot. Even though I had many abilities, super speed was not one of them.
The rain was hitting my face and the wind tossed tinny twigs my way as if it wasn't hard enough already. The ground was soft under the blanket of leaves, it was a sponge soaking up the waster just as it had the millions of infected people sixteen years ago. For all I knew I was running through a cemetery, for all I knew I was running to my grave.
After running for two long hours wondering if I would make it, I got to the camp. Many of the tents were still up and people were rushing around to secure the others. I was chaos but no one seemed afraid of the real threat.
"What are you doing here?" A voice said from my left.
Mathew stood there looking as in charge as always, not even the rain could take that away from him. Looked at me like I was crazy, or was that annoyance? Either way I didn't care. I just wanted to pay back the favor.
"You and your people are in danger, a group of about fifty Hill People are making their way here. We have about twenty minutes to get everyone out of here before we are all slaughtered where we stand."
He narrowed his eyes on me measuring my words.
"Look I have absolutely no reason to lie to you. If anything I should just kill you for finding out about my seeds. I could have just shut my mouth and let them come, but your people, Adrian and Sonia I owe them."
He ran an annoyed hand over his face swiping the rain away.
Frustrated with his lack of action I rolled my eyes and started walking towards the camp. "Look I you're not telling people I guess I'll just tell Adrian. I bet he will know what to do," I said.
"Hold on you can't just come in here and expect me to let you waltz around my camp," he said following close behind me. Instinctively my hand reached for my belt dagger.
Annoyed I turned to face him. "No, I expect you to care for your people." The look in my face must have stunt him because he just looked at me. "They are coming Mathew. You need to get them out of here and to somewhere safe. Now."
He let out a sigh and cursed under his breath, "Fine. But where the hell am I going to take over twenty people in this storm?"
"I'll figure something. Just get people ready to leave in seven minutes or so."
"If you are lying to me I will not think it twice before taking your seeds and selling them," he warned with a chilling look in his eyes.
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever."'
He narrowed his gaze on me before storming off, as he walked he gave people orders, most of them looked at him confused before bursting into action.
That done I rushed to the medical tent to find Adrian sitting on the cot looking worried. He was sitting with elbows on his knees leaning forward, his hands clasped each other but his fingers didn't stop moving. He looked up at me with hopeful eyes but they turned into disappointment before turning into confusion.
