*Ja'Laya*
*alarm clock goes off*
"Back to the basic", I mumbled as I rolled over out the bed.
"Ja'Laya breakfast ready", my moms yells from downstairs. "I'm on my way" I yells back to her.
Me and mom have this wonderful bond with each other because it's just us now. My father died 3 years ago in this bad car accident that caused him to fracture his neck. I'm also the only child, so yeah before you say it. I'm very spoiled!
"Good morning beautiful" my mom says to me as I walked in the kitchen to grab my plate off the counter. "Good morning mother", I replied back to her as I sat down at the kitchen table to eat my food. "I have to be at work earlier then usually today, so see you after school, love you", she says as she walked out the door.
I finished my breakfast and went back upstairs to get ready for school. Today is my first day as a junior. One more year and I'll be done with high school.
I text my boyfriend, Austin, to see if he was awake.
Austin is also a junior, but he's 3 months older then me. We've been together since 6th grade; I really love the dude.
When I finished gotten dressed; I headed for the door. My mom usually drops me off because I haven't gotten my car yet, but since she had to leave for work earlier then usually I had to walk to school today.
