Things Happen

First Day Back

Unique time for school", I hears my grandma hollers from her room. I stay with my granny because my mom died a year ago and my father well let's just say I never met him. I have 3 younger siblings, but they were put in foster homes, so I barely get to see them.
Anyways I roll over out of bed and text Ja'Laya, my bestfriend, to see if she had left for school yet which she had. Since she was a junior and I was only a sophomore she had to go to school earlier then me.
I finally gets out of bed and get dressed for school and heads to the kitchen to eat breakfast.
"Hey granny", I says to her as I walk in the kitchen. "Hey baby", she replies back to me.
When I finish breakfast I asked her can she drop me off at school. Which she was happy to do I don't know why though. Maybe because of the talks we had on the ride there.
When we was a block away from the school I text my friend Antiono to ask him can he wait on me in front of the school. He replies back with an "you know I would niq-niq." We've been close friends since elementary and I could tell since 6th grade that Antiono had a crush on me, but he's the "bad boy" type, so Ja'Laya doesn't approve of me dating him. But Antiono is so good looking. He's carmel with big full, juicy lips and his body oh my God. He's just so perfect to me.
When I made it to the school I could see Antiono standing in front of the school waiting on me.
I kisses my granny on the check and tells her, "See you later", as I got out the car.
"You looking good", Antiono says to me as I'm walking up to him. "Thanks", I says back smiling, "So does you". When I made it to where he was standing we gave each other a big hug. We really didn't get to see each other over the summer, so this was the first time since the last day of 9th grade that I had saw his face.
As we hugged, the smell of his cologne really turned me on. It was very strong and manly.
"So how was your summer", he asked as we stopped hugging. "It was great", I replied back to him. "How was yours", I asked him. "It was great! Let me tell you all about it" he shouted back to me in excitement. As we walked in school he told me all about what he did over the summer and I must admit it was pretty cool. We was rudely interrupted by our principle over the intercom though.

"Attention All 9th and 10th graders report to the auditorium in a orderly fashioned manner"

Antiono and I , made our way to the auditorium as we were told. We sat in the back were the rest of our friends were and waited on the rest of the students to make it in the auditorium and get settled.

"Welcome back 10th graders and please to have you here with us this year 9th graders", our principal, Mr. Jones, said into the microphone. "Please to have new faces in the building this year."

After that I knew exactly what this meeting was for. For him to go over rules and expectations, dress codes, cell phone policy, and all that extra stuff that I really didn't care about. I started to tune him out and began wondering off into space.
