*Ja'Laya*
Hey Ja'Laya" I hear as I walked into my first period class.
"Hey Zaria", I replies back.
Zaria was a friend of mine, but we kinda fell off we have that "hey and bye" friendship now.
"Good morning class", the teacher says as he walked in the class, "'My name is Mr. Brown."
I must say he was very good looking. Dark chocolate man with a bold head and pretty white teeth. His smile was just perfect. I could tell I was really going to like this class. I was just staring at him wondering off in space when all of a sudden I hear "Ms. Jones , Ms. Jones , Ms. Jones" and I snapped out my own little world. It was Mr. Brown calling me to answer his question, but I didn't hear a word he had said at all. I was too busy admiring him. "Sir, may you repeat your question again?" I asked him. "What you did this summer" he asked me again. "Nothing much, just shopped" I answered in a flirty tone.
"Write a full page essay describing what you did this summer", Mr. Brown said to us as he sat down at his desk.
When I got ready to write my essay; I realized my pencil was broken, so I got up to sharpen it.
When I got out my desk to go sharpen my pencil the most embarrassing thing happen to me.... I tripped over my book bag and fell in front of the whole class.
I never felt so embarrassed in my life.
"Why me?", was all I could ask when I looked up and saw all my fellow students laughing at me.
I got up off the floor and ran out the classroom as fast as I could.
"Great way to start off this school year", I said to myself wiping tears off my face.
"Jay are you okay?", I heard a voice ask me. "I'm fine", I replied back. In reality I wasn't, I wanted to go home and never come back again. The laughter of my classmates was kept replaying in my head as I sat on the toilet in the bathroom stall. I couldn't stop myself from crying.
