Dipper awoke for the second time, smacking his head on a tree. He flattened his ears, rubbing the spot where he hit his head. Looking around in a daze, he began to search the area.
Stan lay nearby, watching a river nearby river, unmoving. Mabel gently swam back in forth in it, looking sullen. Her bright pink tail reflected from under the water, making it look like a a hot pink sea monster was following Mabel. Dipper hesitantly stood, his new legs wobbling.
"Uh, what are you doing...?" Stan turned his head to look at Dipper, his hauntingly red eyes looking sad. Mabel emerged from the water, and hesitated before answering.
"Waiting for you, bro-bro." A tone of sadness came with her words, which was very unlike her. Dipper began to worry. Suddenly, Stan stood, breathing deeply. He began to walk forward, as if following a trail. Dipper and Mabel exchanged worried looks, then began to follow. Dipper grabbed Mabel, hoisting her onto his back. Stan was already a few meters ahead by the time they started to follow.
"So... Anything you wanna tell us?" Dipper called ahead the Stan, but he kept walking, as if in a trance. Dipper looked back at Mabel, and she looked away guiltily, chewing on a piece of hair. Dipper let out a silent moan, then asked,
"What is it Mabel."
"Ummm..."
Dipper poked and prodded, but got no satisfactory answer from the mermaid. All he got was one thing. The words, you're not going to like it. Dipper eventually gave up, and focused on following Grunkle Stan. The trees they walked through began to clear, and Dipper could hear faint screaming, getting louder and louder with every step.
The gargoyle walked into a clearing, were the screaming was so loud it nearly deafened Dipper, and he stopped. Dipper walked up beside him, and his mouth went slack with horror.
Gravity Falls is now a town of monsters. And the biggest one of all was sitting on his throne.
