Caught By The Gingerbread Boy

Hey Guys! I know its long, but please read my poem!!

See if you can find all the references to fairytales or disney stories and name all 20 (I think) different films/tales I used for inspiration, some are obvious but...have a go!

You big bad wolf

You cast your spell

I bit the apple,

And I fell

Now I’m Hook’d

On magic beans

I can’t find the pea

Placed by your queen

I kissed the frog

It was a trick

Now I’m conversing

With a candlestick!

I grew long legs

And tried to run

With my false prince

Along a trail of crumbs

Locked in a tower

In love with hate

Spinning threads of gold

The Ball’s started- I’m late

I pricked my finger

Into an aching sleep

You savage, linger

Will you lie, or weep?

Dream giver do you want for me?

Genie, can you stop by?

I suppose we’ll have a tea party

When I see an elephant fly!

I saw you for the beast you are

Jiminy cricket! I’ve made a plan!

To escape your rabbit-warren’d wonderland

I’ll join the army as a man

I'll Smash your mirror into shards

You’ll be a boy who’s lost

I’ll leave your sticky candy cottage

And you’ll have to pay the cost

The forest of thorns will fade away

Your huntsman give up or die

No more I yearn for wishing wells

My happy thoughts have made me fly
