Hello all.

This is Anne, Leigh's friend once again. Before she unfortunatly passed away she had a few notes jotted down in her word files of what seemed to be plans for a story, which I assume is this one. I hope you all aren't too upset about how this story is ending, I would end it for her, but it just doesn't seem right for she never gave me the go-ahead.

- Ingrid gets into binge eating and feels upset about herself. She restarts to starve herself and after the girls' X Factor performance, she blacks out on stage. Paramedics are called and Coralie spills the truth about her anorexia, therefore she is put into an inpatient facility for further treatment.

- Ingrid re-encounters a high school friend during her stay at the facility, named Natalia. Natalia and she catch up on all their lost years and Natalia secretly sneaks her out two weeks before her discharge date to go back to the X Factor and get George back.

- Ingrid is back at the X Factor and all the girls and other contestants are confused. The media is unaware of her real story behind the leave of absence for three weeks, so when a story is published in the Sun, people have suscpicions on who the "close source," may be. Josh of Union J confesses he sold the story for 20 grand to feed his family, so Ingrid brushes it off but Simon is infuriated.

- Ingrid tells George about all her problems and how much this show meant to her and he instantly feels guilty about leaving her when she was in a vulnerable state. He is willing to sabotage another contestant's performance to keep the girls safe, as their last performance without Ingrid was rocky and could cost them the show. Ingrid feels biased, considering it's unfair no matter how long she wants to stay.

- Three weeks later the girls are sent home but Ingrid isn't upset because she and George can officially start dating seriously. However, when she goes home and her mum is notified about her self harm and anorexia problems she is upset and kicks Ingrid out of the house. Ingrid steals her mother's money and flies off to New York cutting ties with everyone else.

I assume this would be the last chapter as there were missing spaces.

- Three years later in New York, George meets up with Ingrid and they are still in a steady relationship. They tell each other that they love each other for the first time in person. Ingrid goes out for a business meeting after opening her own boutique and giving up singing for good. She returns home and finds George with another woman telling her he loves her. She isn't shocked, yet instead turns around and says, "Dammit, I love you too George!"

He runs up and tries to apologize but she is stoic.

"I'm not mad, if you love her, be with her. No point wasting time with me."

She takes a one way ticket to Australia, running away again. Hey, Ingrid was always one to run away from her problems rather than face them.

Ingrid's thoughts: My life was a very long story, but a story can't be a great story without it's end.

Personally I believe the last sentence was an internal cry for help that I wish I had read sooner. I believe it signifies Ingrid's suicide, but you may take it as you please. I'm sorry if this was disappointing but it was all I could find in Leigh's documents.

I find it rather comical that there was a character named Leigh in this short story. I read this hundreds of thousands of times and still see no resemblence between the author and the character named after her. Just a thought.
