A/N: And now, Lindsey's view again!

*Lindsey's p.o.v*

Finally, I convinced Erich to let me compete in the Kalos Pokemon League, with the help of Drew and Gavi in convincing him. We're going to about all of the major towns and cities in Kalos, and they do have gyms. I went to the Pokemon Center to learn about the local gym, and found out that it was a Bug type gym. Sonata, and Legado will be good for this gym. Fire work well against Bug types, and I need to practice several of the strategies for Bug types with Sonata. Delegado stayed out because of his well-spoken need to see me at all times. I did raise him from an egg. I stepped into the gym, and saw Cline, the ever-present Gym Guide. The gym had a hole in the ground with a string leading down, and I thought that the gym is down there proper. Cline came up to me and said, "Hello Trainer, are you planning to challenge the gym today?"

The same greeting I get every time I enter a gym in a Region for the first time. "Yes." I answered, inwardly groaning.

"Okay! The Shantalune Gym Leader is Viola, a Bug type expert. Flying, Fire, and Grass will do wonders against her Bug types." He said. Like I already know that. "And here's a Fresh Water for your Pokemon in case they get thirsty. Good Luck!" He gave me the Fresh Water and I put it in my bag, and I rolled my eyes. Legado doesn't like Fresh Water, as it interferes with his Flame, but Sonata loves it on her back.

"Come on out, Legado, Sonata!" I said, calling out my Charmeleon and Turtwig.

"Charmeleon!" Cried Legado.

"Turtwig!" Sonata cried. Again, a pang of missing Hannah and her ability to understand Pokemon.

I shook off that feeling, and said, "Alright Sonata, Legado, we're going to face lots of Bug types here, so Sonata, you're my first Pokemon. Legado, you're my second. Delegado, you're not fighting. That would be unfair."

Delegado purred in agreement, as he knew that he was the strongest of my Pokemon. "Hyyyyy" Delegado purred, rubbing against me affectionally.

"All right, all right, Del, I get it, you love me." I said, laughing at his antics. I could always read him without Hannah translating. Dad brought home Pokemon eggs for all of my siblings, and I chose his egg. I already had Melody, so I found it easy to care for him when Del hatched.

"Turtwig! Tur!" Sonata cried, motioning to me that we had a Pokemon battle to get to.

"Right! Come on Legado, Sonata, and Delegdo, to the Gym Leader!"

After beating the Gym Trainers, all with Sonata. Sonata is getting stronger, probably going to evolve soon. Legado feels it too, as he hasn't been called out to fight. "Turtwig!" Sonata cried after we beat the last Gym Trainer.

"Yeah, now onto the Gym Leader!" I said in union with her. We walked on the wet, dewy strings which look like web for an Ariados to the platform for the Gym Leader. She was waiting for us.

"Hello Challenger, My name's Viola, what's yours?" Viola introduced herself.

I smiled, and said, "Lindsey Stirling, the Dancing Violinist." Sonata chirped along too, and I gave her a big smile.

"Nice. Your Turtwig must love you very much. You play your violin for them?" She asked. Such a nice person.

"Yeah, and other Pokemon who wants to listen." I said, and Sonata hopped out in front of me, ready for battle.

"That's cool. I see that your Turtwig is ready for battle." Viola said, throwing a Pokeball and sending out a familiar Pokemon, Surskit. "Let's see how strong that bond is. Surskit, use Posion Sting!" And the battle started.
