Everything was going fine, until we arrived here.
[flashback]
"Alright class, you've been assigned to kill a group of middle class demons in Akaigawa Village."
I froze at the mention of that place. Nobody seemed to notice.
"You'll be put into teams of three."
I was put with Shiemi and Rin. We traveled there with Yukio's keys and we were lead into a beautiful meadow full of (F/F). The lake reflected the suns light, fracturing it across the surface. I could almost see her standing there with a (F/F) in her hair, smiling at me the way she always had. I was brought back to reality by Rin dragging me and Shiemi across the field towards a large farmhouse.
The walls were painted like a crimson rose."(Y/N)?" Shiemi ran to my side as I fell to my knees, the memories having been too much for me.
"I...I'm sorry, I'll be alright in a second. I'm sorry." Rin's eyes were wide, he looked concerned, but like he was holding something back. He and Shiemi lifted me to my feet.
"Maybe we should go inside and look around without you?" Shiemi suggested, she looked worried about me, my face turning paler by the second. I couldn't take my eyes off that window.[Shiemi's pov]
We left (Y/N) outside, her face was pale and her eyes wide. She couldn't stop looking at the blood stained wall underneath the second story window. I wondered what she was so upset about, but I thought better than to ask. The house itself was large and quite beautiful. We made our way through the oak doors and into a lovely family home, or the shell of what used to be. Thick layers of dust coated everything and it was too neat. Everything was set out neatly, as if it had never been touched.
We looked around and found no trace of demonic activity, so we decided to try our luck upstairs. We walked into a bedroom that must have belonged to a young girl at one time. It was much unlike the rest of the house.
The bed was messy and the window, which was wide open, let in a pleasant breeze that brushed past the curtains. Books lay strewn across the floor and a single, one eyed, teddy bear lay before the dresser. I could see a post card laying on top of the oak dresser, next to a lamp and vase of (F/F). I couldn't help myself, so I read it.
My dearest daughter,
I regret to inform you that I will not be coming home as planned, the demon problem here is far too great. I promise I will be home whenever I can. In the meantime, be a good girl for your mother. I love you very much, (Y/N).I was shocked. Now I knew why she was so pale, now I knew why she kept looking at the wall. That wall, was where her mother died.
[Rin's pov]
Shiemi handed me the post card. She looked distraught, I didn't know what was wrong, so I assumed it was the post card. I read it.
So that was why (Y/N) was acting like that. This was her home. But whose...? Could it be...? I looked out of the window.
There she sat, her arms wrapped around her legs, silvery tears running down her face."(Y/N)! MOVE!" I yelled, but it was too late. The demon was already on top of her, there was no time.
