'Lexi!' My friend shouted from 10 metres away. 'ITS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! WOOOO!' She seemed so excited.
'Yeah it is, I guess..' I put on a fake smile.
'Are you okay?' My friend Melissa asked me, but in a casual way. She doesn't care, and I don't mind. I'm used to it.
'Yeah, I'm great, you?'
'I'm FABULOUS!, I got a new bag today. Pauls Boutique. £200'
'Nice'
'Yeah, it is, c'mon lets go inside!'
My friend Missy. Yeah. She's... Definitely interesting. Popular girl. Long, blonde hair. Usually perfectly straight. Slim and tall. Into fashion, pink fluffy stuff, and I don't get what's so appealing about it. I'm just... average. Short. Brown hair. Green eyes. I have a normal backpack. I wear normal clothes. I'm not skinny. Far from it. I don't believe when people say I am. My hair is usually a mess. It's down. Wavy most the time, but not too wavy. Side fringe mostly. I cut my own hair, so I get to do it how I want.
We walked inside. Everyone was in their groups talking about what they would do over the summer. In England, we have lots to do. Well. Normal people do. I'll probably spend it in my room. Looking out the window, looking at people and guessing what their lives must be like. The bell went. It's a loud bell, high pitched and hurts your ears if you stand too close to it. We had to go to class. I sit at the back, in the corner furthest away from the door, where no one can see me. Teachers usually forget I'm even there. I sat down at my desk. It was a free day, we could spend it with our friends, getting messages in our autograph books. Do whatever we want. I stayed at my desk. With my phone out. Watching anime. That's all I do with my life- watch anime. I'm on one called 'Attack on Titan' right now, but let's not get into that, you can go watch it for yourself. I watched it until lunch. Then Missy came back.
'Hey c'mon, lunch?' she squealed.
''Okay'' I got up, picked up my backpack and we went to the lunch hall together.
''What are you having?'' Missy asked me, wondering what she herself should get.
''Umm, I'm not hungry, I had a big breakfast'' I reply
''You have a big breakfast every day then''
I paused for a moment. ''Yeah''.
I had to move away from the food so I ran away. And sat on a brick wall. I felt so sick. I kept thinking to myself 'Don't eat. Do it for yourself, to lose weight.' And then. She came up to me. Chloe. The 'school queen' The most popular girl in the school.
''Eat it'' She handed me a sandwich, chicken and mayo.
''Thanks, but no thanks''
''Girls. Get over here'' 3 other girls came over, then all 4 of them stared at me as Chloe repeated ''Eat it'' This time, it wasn't her being generous.
''I can't''
''Why not?''
''I'm a vegetarian'' My lying improved since I had to lie to teachers why I'm always tired.
''Fine, Freak''
''Yeah Freak'' The other 3 girls chanted at the same time.
Chloe pretended to turn away, put instead, forced the sandwich into my mouth and made me chew. I spat it out and they all walked away. I was sick 2 times at lunch after that before Missy came and found me. The end of lunch bell went, I slowly walked back to the classroom, and continued watching 'Attack On Titan' until the end of school, even through all the stares and whispers about me. I pretended I didn't care, but inside I was breaking apart. The last bell went and I ran out of the classroom into the woods, and sat their crying. Desperately needing someone to hug me tight, to know I'm not alright.
