I needed to go talk with head scientist, Dr. Wu, he's into some mad science as I would prefer to say. Denial crossed my thoughts, but I shook it away in a matter of seconds. I knew it was real, "Life isn't fair" as my mum always told me, when I was just growing up. Nothing made sense anymore, not even the simple ways of life. I tried to make sense of it all, but it seems impossible, even now.
My thoughts were interrupted by a loud knock on my hotel door. I opened the door to see not Owen, not Claire, not Zach, not Gray, but a young little boy. "A-Are you gonna save this" he sniffed. "Park?"
I felt deeply touched, so I nodded kindly, although I didn't think it would be possible. No. I needed to think positive. I smiled, hopefully giving him a positive feeling too, it was good to smile, and it was better to see another person smile.
"Thank you, miss!" His face lit up and he bounced off happily, clutching onto a pink rabbit teddy.
I smiled, closing the door just to get another knock.
"Yes?" I rubbed my eyes. "How may I-"
"I found a way.." Owen mumbled, looking down on the floor.
"How?!" I asked, worried and joyful.
"Well, if we can lure the Indomonius to the centre of park, we could get the velociraptors and knock them back to their senses. Easy." He explained fully.
"Yeah, sounds good. Tonight at 9 o'clock, we get Gray and Zach." I replied, as Owen nodded in response. He ran towards the other rooms quickly.
I sighed and pulled open my curtains. I was shocked at the level of brightness outside. I looked to my clock. Half an hour until nine. We could perform those actions now.
I looked at the centre of park from my window. The Indomonius was there, along with her minion velociraptors. Owen, Zach and Gray ran towards the park. I got dressed and everything in about 7 minutes, then ran out the door.
Catching up with the guys took 10 minutes, maximum, getting to the park took another 10. 20 minutes. We'd be lucky if one velociraptor was there. I sighed as I thought.
Never mind, both here... I thought awkwardly as I heard the horrible beasts large footsteps. I held onto my necklace and kissed it, wishing the world goodbye.
