I wake up to Molly's crying. I sigh, and walk over to her crib. I pick her up, and see there is a bruise on her forehead. Since it's like 6:45 am I just shake it off, guessing that she bumped her head on the side of the crib. I change Molly's diaper, and go back to bed. My alarm goes off, and I hit the stop button. I get up, and walk over to Molly. I walk downstairs with her, and cradle her. "Mommy!" Jake says giving me a hug. "Hi kiddo" I say, hugging him. Josh walks over, and pecks me on the nose. He rubs/massages my back for a minute, and then Jake says "I want food!" I nod, and make him a waffle. After I get coffee for me and Josh, and a bottle for Molly, I sit down. "I woke up this morning, and I saw a bruise on her forehead" I say, pointing to Molly. I see Jake squirming. Oh no, would he really do that? He's a good kid, I don't get it. "Mommy! I'm so sorry, I went to see Molly and I wanted to hold her. So I picked her up, and then when I out her back in the crib, I accidentally put her to close to the edge. I won't do it ever again, please mommy don't yell at me." He says. Josh takes Molly, and I head on over to Jake. "JAKE THOMAS EVANS HOW COULD YOU HURT YOUR SISTER LIKE THAT?" I scream. Josh walks outside with Molly because it was getting loud. I grab the spoon and spatula. "Which one do you like better?" I snap. He slowly points to the spatula and I nod. I lift his shirt up, and take the spatula off the table. I can't believe I'm doing this. Kenz, stop regretting it it's what your mom did to you
Flashback:
Kenz is 6 and Maddie is 8
"MACKENZIE FRANCES ZIEGLER!" Get in here my mom shouts. I skip in, and Maddie is in there, crying. Her top is off, and I think that's weird because Maddie thinks it weird to be naked in front of mom and me. "Want a back massage sweetie?" Mom says. I remember being so happy about getting one, and lying on the couch. She slowly started taking my top off, and starting massaging me. Then, I remember the pain. The hitting, the punching, the kicking. "Idiot!" "Brat!" "Ugly!" She called out every time she hit me. That was the beginning of it. It got worse. Threatening to kill me.
End of flashback
One hit, kenz. I put the spatula in the air, and hit his back. He started crying. I throw it on the floor, and walk him upstairs. I put him in a room, and lock the door. I walk outside to Josh and he asks me what took so long. "Oh, josh" I say. "Your gonna hate me" I say. "I would never hate you" he says. "I-I h-hit him with the s-spatula" I say. "Oh Kenzie honey" he says. "I did that once also to him. The time with the pillow fight." He says, sighing. "We're horrible parent's" I say, crying on his shoulder. "Shh, Mackenzie, it's okay, if we were horrible would we have two lovely children? Would you have a good job? Would you be able to make sure the kids do everything they want to?" He says to me. We walk inside, and I decide to go on a nice drive. Let's see where the road takes me today. I walk to my closet, and grab out my phone. It was 69 degrees. I know it's gonna heat up, so I dress for 75 degrees. I dress fancy. I put on a dress, some jewelry, and heels and my brain tells me to pack a bag. My brain tells me to bring Molly. I don't know why though. I run outside and pack the bags in the trunk. I get Molly, and dress her in a onsie that says I love you a latte, and I give her a paccy. I go downstairs and tell Josh I'm gonna take Molly on a drive. He nods. I walk back upstairs.
"CHLOE?!" I scream. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY BABY?" I say, grabbing Molly, and calling 911. "I-I" she stutters. A moment later, the cops come. They are charging her $25,000. Ha to you Chloe. By the time everything is settled, it's an hour later. I pick up Molly, and walk her to the car. I stop in my tracks, and grab some blankets and baby toys and stuffed animals. I continue. I put her in the car, and buckle her. I get in as well, and buckle. I start driving. After driving for a few hours I pull up at a house. I get the bags, and Molly. I walk on up, and knock. The door opens...
