Always Be Here To Hold You

When Niall got home, he didn't bother trying to suppress his tears. He just tossed his phone, keys and wallet onto the table by the door and crawled right into bed.

His body wracked with each sob he let out, he bet he probably looked liked a wiggling pile of blankets from an outside view actually.

He'd had such a shit day, all he wanted right now was Liam, hamburgers and sleep. Specifically in that order.

He didn't know how long he spent under that blanket sobbing, it felt like hours, but he eventually heard the front door open and shut, along with the familiar sound of Liam setting his boots on the floor.

"Nialler?" He called out, coming upstairs way too slowly. Niall just waited patiently for his cuddle and kiss.

The door swung open and Niall could hear Liam let out a little sigh, along with a whisper of "Baby?" Then Liam was sitting on the side of the bed, placing his hand on top of the blanket (which was coincidentally where Niall's bum was. Niall was very appreciative of the fact that Liam squeezed it a bit too).

"Niall, babe, are you okay?" Liam asked softly. Niall just shook his head and sat up, probably looking like a right mess. His cheeks were stained with tears, his eyes were red, his hair was disheveled. Liam however didn't seem to mind. His expression softened and he pulled Niall onto his lap, wrapping his arms around his lover.

God, how did I ever find Liam?

They stayed like that for a while more, Niall sniffling in Liam's lap, and Liam just hugging his boyfriend as he pressed kisses to his face. Niall just relaxed and basked in the moment, this was what he'd needed all day.

"Are you feeling better now love?" Liam eventually whispered.

"Yeah, thanks Leeyum." Niall croaked out. He gave the brunette a tiny smile and pressed a kiss to his lips. Liam smiled back and nuzzled his nose against the blonde's and kissing his nose, making him giggle cutely.

"No need to thank me baby, I'll always be here to hold you."

Hi, here's a little drabble I wrote for a friend because they had a bad day. I'll post the next one shot once my last one shot reaches the amount of votes and comments.
