My Little Love

This is for Ali (Niamzies) because I love her and she wanted me to write this. I tried to edit the best I could but I'm sorry if it still has mistakes or you find some things I could have changed. Thank you for reading this, I'll try to post stuff more often. <3

        “Liam, can we talk for a moment?” Danielle asked, walking into Liam’s home office and shutting the door behind her. Liam looked up at her puzzled, but nodded and shut his laptop, turning his chair towards her.

“What’s this about love?” He asked softly, noticing how nervous she was. Her dainty fingers were playing with her curly hair, twisting and tugging, while her teeth were busy biting her bottom lip. He’d never seen her this nervous, not even before auditioning for the Dance Academy of London.

“Liam, h-how do you think this relationship is going?” she asked timidly, her brown eyes focused intently on him.

Liam frowned, his mouth opened and closing, but he couldn’t say anything. Was she not happy? Was he doing anything wrong? He didn’t want to break up with Dani, he thought everything had been going well. Sure PayneTech had been taking up more of his time but he always made time for her…

“D-Dani are you not happy?” He choked out, his heart breaking as her eyes adverted to the floor.

“I-I’m not as much as I used to be…” she whispered, making tears come to Liam’s eyes. He stood up then, practically running over to her and wrapping his arms around her. She curled into him, her fingers taking hold of his shirt and sobbing into his chest.

“W-what am I doing wrong?” He almost cried out, but was almost embarrassed as it came out as a half sob-half whimper.

“Nothing, I-I just-” Dani hiccupped before pulling away and wiping her cheeks, “you’re getting busier and you’re away more, and I don’t think we’ll last if it continues.”

And then she was biting her lip again, almost as if she were afraid of his reaction. And his own tears were escaping, probably making him look pathetic but he didn’t really care. This was the woman he loved, and she was leaving him, why wouldn’t he cry?

“C-Can we work on this?” he asked quietly, his heart shattering as she shook her head.

“I don’t…think this will be healthy, we both won’t be able to commit to a long distance relationship…and I know you’re moving headquarters to Birmingham. I’m sorry Liam..” she sighed, pulling him into a hug and whispering an ‘I love you’ into his ear before kissing his cheek and walking back towards the door of his office.

For the last time.

“I’ll see you ‘round Liam.” She spoke quickly before opening the door and closing it behind her. He knew she was packing her stuff, probably leaving as soon as she could.

He knew she was gone.

It was about a year later and Liam was feeling pretty lonely, he still hung around Andy, Zayn and Louis, but he needed a relationship. He felt like Danielle took a piece of his heart, and it needed to be filled.
