Today was the day. Zoran was going to tell his parents that he can't marry Vyra, I was going to become a full vampire and I was going to be with Zoran forever. But of course, nothing ever goes to plan, does it?

It was the day after Zoran and I talked about the truth. We agreed to be together forever and always. And we were going to let the world know. Well more like his family.

I decided to wear a black skirt with black tights with rose designs on them, a white blouse and black heels. I think I should make a better impression on his parents now. I even put on a light coat of makeup. A really good impression.

I walk out when I'm ready to see the guys playing poker on the table. They stop when they see me. I know that I look strange they don't have to make it obvious. "What's up with the outfit?" Mark asks walking in with his warm mug of blood.

"I just wanted to change it up. " I say as I head to Zoran's room. When I walk up I see Vyra knocking, no more like pounding on his door.

"What is up with this note?" She yells. I notice a crumpled up note in her left fist. Please don't tell me he broke up with her in a note.

"What's up?" I walk up to her trying to act casual.

"Nothing." She hisses. "Just that he tells me it's over last night and hands me a note saying 'sorry.' What the hell is that about?" She growls.

"I have no clue." I say shaking my head. "Let me try." I say standing in front of the door. I knock softly. "Zoran it's me, Autumn." I listen for sound but there is non. He's not even here.

"What is it?" Vyra asks angrily.

"He's not here." I shrug. "Sorry." She glares at me before stomping away.

I sigh as I head back to the dining room to see Zoran with them. He looks up at me and smiles. "There you are." He walks over to me casually. Man, he makes everything look sexy.

"Hi." I smile shyly. I can feel the warmth touch my cheeks.

"So you ready?" He asks with a nervous smile.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I smile nervously back. Alright, we can do this.

He intertwines our fingers together before walking over to the living room, where Mr. and Mrs. Reign are with Vyra's parents.

"Mom, dad." Zoran says making all the adults look at us.

"What is it son?" Mr. Reign looks at our hands.

"I'm not marrying Vyra." He says making them gasp.

"But our family has been friends for generations." Vyra's mom claims.

"Yes, but I don't love her." Zoran looks at me and smiles.

"So you would leave our daughter for this witch?" Vyra's father growls.

"Yes." Zoran glares at him. Well this is not going well.

"Really?" Vyra growls. Oh, it just got worse.

"Yes." Zoran turns his attention to Vyra. "Do you even love me?"

"Yes?" She says as if more of a question. Everyone looks at her making her crack. "No."

"Then why marry me?" He asks.

"To join our families so our territory is larger." She shrugs. Well I didn't know that vampires could be gold diggers, but hey what do I know.

"You can marry Mark if you want that." Zoran snaps. "So my decision is final. I'm going to be with Autumn." He announces.

"Really?" Mark smirks as he leans on the door frame. "Because she's mine." He growls possessively. What, when did this happen? "Don't you remember?" Mark chuckles. "You and Vyra were to marry and I to marry Autumn." He says. "Our parents arranged it the day they adopted her." What? And I'm just hearing about this. Well this family is definitely screwed up. I just hope Zoran and I make it out alive, well undead.
