Camila and Lauren waited patiently inside the adoption center ready to take their new child home.

"Here she is." Said the employee as she handed over the child to Camila.

"You get to name her." The lady bit her lip and clicked her pin while holding onto a clipboard. Camila looked at the child.

"I don't know what to name her, any ideas Lauren?" Camila looked up at her wife hopefully.

"Sure, what about Rose? That's a pretty name." Lauren smiled but frowned immediately after realizing Camila was not impressed.

"How about I give you two some time to think about it and I'll be back later okay?" The lady squeaked. Camila and Lauren both nodded in unison and Lauren took the baby out of Camila's warming grasp.

"We should've gotten a boy, boys are easier to name." Lauren tilted her head and smiled down at the curly haired baby. Camila slapped Lauren's arm while she laughed.

"Oh that's not even true..." Camila trailed off. She stared directly into the smaller child's eyes and she could've sworn she caught a glimpse of the girl she had once loved when she was younger.

"Dinah, we're going to name her Dinah." Camila felt her eyes welling up with tears. The last time she'd even thought about the taller girl was when Lauren and Camila were getting married.

"Dinah? What kind of name is that?" Lauren cocked her head to the side.

"And why're you crying, please don't cry, at least not in front of our child." Lauren gave Camila a sympathetic look before handing the child over to Camila. She wiped away her tears and looked down at the baby girl. Camila leaned down and kissed her head.

"Here lemme take a picture." Lauren stepped back to capture a picture of her wife holding their new child.

"Have you guys decided on a name yet?" The quirky employee asked. Camila and Lauren exchanged a glance.

"Yeah, her name is Dinah Rose Jauregui-Cabello." Lauren smiled and Camila couldn't have been happier.

That night Camila sat in the rocking chair by the window in Dinah's room, holding her close to her chest. She was staring out at the moon when she heard a familiar voice say, "Beautiful isn't she?" Camila smiled and looked down at the baby.

"I thought you were in bed Lauren." Camila chuckled and looked up but she froze when she realized Lauren wasn't the one talking.

There right in front of her was Dinah, the real Dinah. The one she used to love and still did love. Camila sprung to her feet, setting the baby down in her crib and wrapping herself around the taller girl. They stayed like that for at least five minutes until Camila pulled away.

Of course all good things come to an end because when Camila did pull away, Dinah was gone and Camila was left crying while holding her new child in her arms. She looked down at the sleeping baby.

"I love you. I know I never got to tell you this but I do." She said between sniffles and that night, Camila fell asleep with Dinah in her arms, just like she'd always dreamed of doing.
