To say the weekend flew by was an understatement. I had spent most of it unpacking and getting some stuff for school. Now it was Monday and no mater how hard I tried I couldn't shake the nerves. I wanted to make friends but I knew there was no point in keeping any just in case we had to move again.

Sighing I walked to my closet already knowing what I wanted to wear I grabbed my dark blue ripped skinny jeans and my white tee shirt pairing it with my leather jacket and black flats. I quickly got dressed, then put on a little eyeliner and mascara. I took one last look in the mirror before grabbing my shoulder bag and cell phone and headed down stairs.

"Good morning honey, you look cute" my mom said as she leaned against the counter drinking her morning coffee.

"Good morning and thanks, did my schedule come in?" The school said they'd send my classes by mail so I wouldn't be rushed on my first day.

"Yes its on the table by the door along with your keys even though I'm not sure why out of all the SAFE cars and trucks you picked that thing." She had that motherly concerned look on her face when I looked up from stuffing everything in my bag.

I couldn't help the smile that slid onto my face "You know how I am" she sighed and shook her head.
"Alright, alright get going. I love you, be safe" she gave me a stern look even though we both knew I would be.

"I love you too and I will" I gave her a quick hug and a kiss goodbye before heading out. Sliding onto the leather seat was all it took to calm my nerves. Putting on my helmet I backed out of the drive and headed towards the school. It was about a 25 minute ride since we lived on the other side of town.

Pulling into the parking lot had my stomach turning. I was never good at making friends or fitting in it wasn't easy for me to talk to strangers.

Quickly parking I put down the kick stand and took off my helmet, I could feel everyone's eyes on me and I guess if I lived in a town as small as this I would stare too. Sliding off my baby I put away my helmet and started towards the school. Reaching the doors I walked inside and grabbed my papers from my bag. Skimming the map a few times I headed in the direction I hoped my locker would be in, after a few turns I found locker 483 and put in my birthday. Quickly putting away what I didn't need for the first part of the day I closed my locker.

To say I wasn't expecting to see anyone when I closed my locker would be an understatement but I didn't let it show and quickly put on a smile for the girl practically radiating energy beside me.

"Hey Terra!" Stacey said. She looked like she had about 10 cups of coffee before coming to school.

"Hey Stacey" I turned my body giving her my full attention.

"So what classes do you have? I hope we have some together! If not I know one of the guys will have some with you" I raised my eyebrow at the last part but gave her my papers. Her smile widened as she looked over my schedule.

"We have English 4, PE and Chemistry together! And you have the girls in two of these and Chase and Damon in History and PE!" I smiled

"That's great!" She laughed sensing my nerves.

"Don't worry I'll introduce you at lunch!"

"Lunch?"

"Yes its where you go to eat" she smiled finally giving me my papers back. I rolled my eyes a smirk slipping on my face.
