'I blinked my eyes again trying to blink the blood and blurriness away. I had to keep moving just a few more feet you have to reach her Terra you have to. I could hear him laughing as I crawled to the bloody body a few feet away. I could feel him lean down near my ear as I continued to drag my body to her knowing I couldn't get up anymore.'

"Give up Terra, she's gone you dirty bitch and its all your fault.'' I bit my lip to keep from crying I knew that's what he wanted to see and I'd be damned if I gave it to him. He laughed getting back up to look down on me with those black empty eyes. He was lying I had time I could save her I promised her I'd be there for her. When I finally reached her I could feel my body burning telling me to just give up and die but I had to help her, I had to protect her I promised her I would. With shaky hands I touched her bloody neck hoping to feel a pulse but she was already cold laying there with her eyes open and a small smile on her beautiful face. I couldn't hold back the scream that I let out, she was gone I failed her.'

"No.....please no....please come back....." I couldn't hold myself up anymore I collapsed beside her sobbing wishing it was me he took. Black dots started to form, I knew I was going to die because he'd kill me as soon as my eyes would shut, but I was ready. I looked up asking God to help my mom to keep her at work till someone found us so she could still run. Taking a deep breath I waited for the darkness to take me but before I blacked out I felt his hot slimy hand grip my ankle and pull making me release a scream that no one would hear....'

Jerking up from my bed, I tried to remember where I was, with shaky hands I wiped the sweat from my face then turned to look at the clock it was three in the morning sighing I kicked the covers off knowing I wouldn't go back to sleep. My heart didn't slow down even though I was safe here because I knew that wasn't a nightmare.....that was a memory.

"Do you have to go?" I sighed before putting my head on the counter. I didn't go back to bed so when six o'clock came I was grumpy and exhausted. I decided today was going to be my bum day so after a hot shower I put on my navy blue off the shoulder sweater and a pair of black leggings with my black army boots before putting my hair in a messy bun and applying a little bit of eyeliner and mascara. I grabbed my things and came down only to be greeted with a guilty smile and my mother's news.

"Yes, believe me honey if I didn't have to go I wouldn't." I knew she had to go her boss told her yesterday to be ready to leave town for a few days. I didn't tell her about the nightmare, she'd only worry to no end thinking I was relapsing and I knew she didn't hear me scream last night because I didn't anymore.....I wanted to beg her to stay but I knew that would only make her worry more. Swallowing my fear I put on a small smile and picked my head up to meet her already worried face.

"Fine but I want a call once a day young lady no if ands or buts" she smiled relaxing a little at my joke. I jumped down from the chair I was sitting on, yes jumped because everything is too tall for a girl of five feet.

"Yes mom" we both let out a laugh at her impression of a sassy teenager. After picking up my bag that I had set on the floor I turned walking into my mother's waiting arms.

"I'll miss you" she whispered in my ear.

"I'll miss you too mama." I pulled away to look at her sad eyes. She put her hands on my shoulders pushing me back a little so I could focus more.

"I put the bag in the closet by your room last night, when you get home you know what to do with it." She gave me a stern look but I could hear the worry in her voice.
