Aphmau x Zane:The Memories

Shadow Knight

It was the morning, and O'Kasis had attacked the village and luckily no one was injured.

Aphmau POV

"Well what a way to start the day am I right Garroth," I said as I nudged him with my elbow.  Garroth said nothing but he nodded his head, although covered by his helmet.  

He fought by me the whole time and also he protected me, it was quiet sweet actually, "Well I'm tired so I'm going to slee- I mean take a nap," I remembered I hadn't  gotten any sleep for awhile and I had just used a lot of energy fighting, so I went home tired and worn out.  I didn't want to worry people after all.  

When I got on the path home I heard a rustle come from the bushes.  I quickly turned around and saw a guard from the enemy side, but instead of killing me he grabbed my arm and I looked over to his sword and saw on it was covered in a black red and purple substance.  

The guard cut my arm and the substance immediately seeping into the wound.  I screamed from the cut because the substance burned as it flowed through my veins.  I fell down, I only saw red, as if a filter had been put into my eyes, and I saw Garroth over me saying, "Aphmau wake up," I passed out soon after.

Garroth POV

I ran to the tower where Laurence had gone to after the fight.  I barged in, "Aphmau's not waking up," I said worry evident in my voice, Laurence then said, "Let's go see Lucinda, I'll follow," and we both ran.

Every little step counted as a time Aphmau might take her last breath.  When we got there Lucinda asked Laurence, "I'm sorry, Laurence,but may you use your shadow knight powers," He nodded and soon let out a gasp most likely at what he found out, "Don't let Aphmau near the Wolf Tribe, don't let her leave the village, keep 24 hour watch," Laurence said quickly, I asked why out of curiosity.  I wanted to know, and I didn't like what I heard,

 "She is becoming a shadow knight."

Aphmau POV

I felt my life slip, my soul come out of my body.  I know what happened to me.  I tried to get up but I could not wake myself from this living nightmare as I started to feel alone and betrayed by my family, no, my friends, my village I wanted to get revenge for what they did.  I hope this living nightmare will end with a dream, but this was only the beginning of the transformation.

I finally woke up but it was Brian's turn to watch me, but he was not there so I left to the Wolf Tribe to go to the portal, but Garroth saw me but I ran from him, tears slowly and silently rolling down my face.  He ran after me but he was knocked out by Sasha one of the Shadow Knight's, no one else saw or heard me.

 After I got there it was then Boldof's turn to keep me from the portal but he also failed.

Garroth POV

I soon realized Aphmau was out of bed and on her way to the Wolf Tribe, or thats my guess at the very least.  I ran after her and I saw she was crying, she made me hesitant, it caused me to let my guard down.  I was knocked out, no one heard me or Aphmau, but in the morning Laurence saw me and he tried to wake me up.   Unlike Aphmau, I did wake up.
