Anagwin Skywalker born twenty minutes after Anakin Skywalker. Anakin and Anagwin were born upon an unknown planet, they were born to slave, Shmi Skywalker.

While their mother worked, Anakin and Anagwin were forced to grow and develop a lot faster than other children. At the age of three years, they pretended to be pilots, soaring within the skies. However their fun ended when they were scooped into a large shuttle, squished between many others, Anakin and Anagwin fell asleep, Anakin dreamt of racing and becoming a pilot, Anagwin on the other hand was having a nightmare.

In the nightmare, she was thrown into a cell. Inside this cell, it was cold, moist and concrete, with only a single mechanical door. There was no way out, the only contact she had with the outside world was a forty by forty eight centre meter widow, with four metal bars vertically down the rectangle. As Anagwin looked out through the window she saw two Suns blazing down upon the desert plains. Anagwin picked herself up from the ground, trying to get a closer look out the window, but the window was too high, as she neared it the less Anagwin saw. Anagwin however was not going to give up, so Anagwin ran toward the window, leaping to grab hold of the metal bars, as she pulled herself up she could see a stadium. In the middle of this stadium she sees a group of people being executed, at once Anagwin released her grip from the bars, allowing her body to fall on the concrete floor, grazing herself. Anagwin sits in fear, hearing to the screams from the window, Anagwin had no pillow to bury her head, no blanket for comfort, she was cold and alone with no comfort near, however her dream took a turn, for her mind left the current state she was in and focussed on her mother and brother she had to find them, Anagwin found further reason to leave that cell, through share determination and a power she didn't know existed she opened that mechanical door. Anagwin ran as fast as she could to her mother although as she does, she watched her brother leave, Anagwin doesn't understand why in her dream she was so cold to her mother, Anagwin had also chosen to leave with Anakin, Anagwin watched her mother shatter within. Anagwin sits up as fast as possible, awakening from her awful dream, but "no!" Is all Anagwin heard "it's alright Ani" Anagwin heard her mother reassure Anakin who seemed to have also had a bad dream, Anagwin wondered if he had the same bad dream as she. "Ana, are you alright?" Shmi turned to Anagwin, for Shmi had been trying to wake Anagwin for awhile, well since she began to get wrestles. Anagwin embraced her mother and said, "I never want to leave you"
" Nor I, my darling girl."

Anakin and Anagwin were huddled beside their mother on a hard metal bench in a space freighter's cargo compartment, which was separated from the noisy engine room by a crisscross of metal bars. The cargo hold was tightly packed with thirty other beings, aliens as well as humans; those who didn't have a seat on one of the four benches either stood or crouched on the filthy floor. Anakin looked up to his mothers pale, grime covered face and said "we're landing?"
"It feels like we are" Shmi Skywalker answered with a smile, she gently pushed Anakin's blond hair back from his forehead and gazed into his blue eyes. "You had a bad dream?" Anakin seemed to be in a daze, but answered, "not too bad" Anakin seemed to have lost interest in the conversation. Shmi turned her attention to her daughter, stroking her dark hair, Shmi gained Anagwin's attention, Shmi gazed into her deep, blue eyes "it's rear for you to sleep, my dear, what troubled you?" Shmi had chosen to use a different question seeing as she failed to speak to Anakin. "Mom, I just hope we don't go to the place with two suns!" Before Shmi could enquire about this unusual place, Anakin perched up and said "know where we going yet?"
"Not yet" before they had boarded the freighter, a crewman had explained that only paying passengers were allowed to know their destination in advance, the others would just have to wait. Shmi wanted to find a way to make her children feel better about the situation by reminding them, that surprises are fun, sometimes enjoyable and that she likes surprises, but they sensed she too was scared. Shmi held her kids close to her side, and said "just hold tight, no matter what happens hold me tightly!" When the freighter stopped shaking and the engine's whine began to die, the cargo hold's occupants shifted out of their seats and from the floor. Standing beside their mother, holding onto her legs, while she strapped the ragged bag, that contained their few belongings to her back. Anakin wished to be taller, so he wouldn't feel so crushed between all the adult bodies. Anakin and Anagwin both wished for some fresh air, as the hold's single freshener had backed up and everyone including them smelled awful. Anagwin buried her face within her mothers clothes in an attempt to rid the smell. They'd been waiting several minutes for the exit hatch to open, when Shmi looked down to her children and said "I can only carry one!" Anagwin rose her head from her mothers clothes and pointed to Anakin shaking her head. Shmi looked at Anakin and asked "would you like me to carry you?" Anakin got his wish to be taller, with a nod, Shmi moved carefully to avoid bumping the surrounding people, as Shmi lifted her son, she said to her daughter, "do not let go of me!" She sternly looked upon her daughter, Anagwin replies, "mom, I won't, I promise, I'm too scared too." Shmi gave a comforting smile to her daughter and held Anakin close against her chest. Anagwin could hear Anakin speaking but gave no care to wonder, instead, Anagwin wraps her hands around her mothers clothes ensuring that she doesn't lose her mother in the mad rush out. The hatch finally opened and the compartment was instantly flooded by a blast of hot, dry air. Even those who had been eager to leave the cramped cargo hold were suddenly reluctant to walk down the ramp that led outside. Anagwin felt the heat and like Anakin, they knew this was the planet with twin Suns. Anakin whispered "twin Suns" this was the second time she heard that, again before she could get an explanation she was interrupted, for a voice from below shouted "come on, move it out!" The people filed out of the freighter. Anagwin clutched her mother even tighter, making Shmi drag her left foot down the ramp. The people found themselves on a sandy stretch of land near a cluster of domed, low level Adobe structures. Air traffics indicated they had landed on the outskirts of a fairly busy spaceport. A few pedestrians were visible in the distance, moving slowly and keeping to the shade of the windowless buildings in an effort to avoid the blistering heat. "Welcome to Mos Espa, o mighty Gardulla" Anagwin turned her face still grasping her mother but she could not see the speaker between all the adult feet that surrounded her, there were thirty beings, including Anagwin that kept her from seeing anything. Anakin, however who's still being carried by his mother, turned his head to see, the speaker was a green skinned male Rodian who stood at the bottom of the ramp that extended the freighter's main hutch. While the Rodian made a sweeping bow, Gardulla the Hutt, the massive slug like alien who had chartered the freighter, descended on a repulsorsled that glided down the ramp from the freighter's main hutch. Gardulla immediately began issuing orders to her attendants. Anakin and Anagwin had been taught Huttese as their prime language, they were able to comprehend a little of what Gardulla had said, Gardulla was eager to see something called a podrace.

Shmi set Anakin down on the ground, then turned her attention to Anagwin who was still grasping her leg as if she were going to be separated her something worse. Shmi held onto Anagwin's wrists saying "my darling, please release me, my leg is going numb, your alright now, we're not moving and your not going anywhere." Anagwin gulped, releasing her grip from her mother, "mom, please, please don't let them take me away"
"What do you mean? Of course I'd never let them separate us" Shmi bent down to Anagwin's level "I promise you, I won't let anything happen to you" Anagwin nods and hugs her mother "see mom? I told you" Anakin says pointing up to the sky. Shmi followed his gaze to the two Suns overhead, and then she understood what he'd said moments earlier, "twin Suns. I see" this news stressed Anagwin further, even though she knew it was this place, seeing the twin Suns confirmed her nightmare, "no, not this place" Anagwin let out a cry and cuddled into her mother who was still crouching, Shmi was going to enquire in hope she could calm her daughter, as for Anakin he was going to tall his mother about his dream he'd had, but they had to remain silent as one of Gardulla's attendants, a long necked Anx, began to bark out instructions. Shmi slowly made her way to a standing position, before the Anx turned his attention to her and her children, and six others that surrounded them, he said "you'll be sharing living quarters at Gardulla's estate, here in Mos Espa. Before you're escorted there, be aware your implanted transmitters have been set for - "
Anakin and Anagwin turned their heads to look at each other with puzzles faces they wondered if he meant by living quarters he meant more than one room when the Anx was interrupted by the loud report of blaster pistol that sounded like it came it came from the nearby Adobe buildings. At the sound of the shot, Anakin and Anagwin held each others hands standing very still, while everyone else flinched, ducked or dived for cover behind the few cargo containers that had already been removed from the ship. Shmi instinctively threw her body protectively in front of her children, however the children moved around their mother so they could see what was happening.

A reptilian humanoid bolted out of the alley between two Adobe buildings and ran toward the freighter. As it drew closer, Anakin and Anagwin saw the runner was a lean Arcona with an an anvel-shaped head and clear marble like eye. A metal fetter with a long, broken chain was secured to the Arcona's right ankle, making a jangling sound as it whipped behind his running feet. A moment later, two blaster wielding men jumped from the alley, the children realised the Arcona was running for his life.  Anagwin wished so much that she could help, she also wondered what this man had done to deserve such treatment.  Seeing the men with the blasters about to shoot in the direction of the freighter, Gardulla's Anx attendant bellowed in Huttese "hold your fire, you fools!"  He pointed a long, pointed finger, at the fleeing Arcona and yelled to Gardulla's guards, "stop him!"  The guards spread out quickly, without breaking his pace, the Arcona elbowed a guard aside and dodged another.  The children could see that the Arcona was trying to get away from his pursuers, but they had no idea where he was trying to go, except for some low dunes, the surrounding land was almost entirely flat, with no other ships or vehicles in sight.  Nowhere to hide, Anakin thought.  No food or water, Anagwin thought, he'd die! The Arcona's frightened eyes flickered toward Anakin and Anagwin, they held his gaze, the children felt sorry for him and wished so much they could help.  Then one of Gardulla's guards lunged forward, the Arcona sprinted away, moving past the children and the others.  He was about two metres away when his body erupted in a small explosion.  Anakin blinked a the Arcona's remains fell to the ground, Anagwin jumped back hiding her face within her crouched mother who was still in a protective state, Anagwin though after a brief moment mover her head back around her mother, Anagwin wondered how did that happen, Anagwin like her older brother, they looked at the two men who had chased the Arcona from the buildings.  Neither man had fired a blaster, Anagwin observed the situation closer and realised as Anakin did that the Arcona had not been shot, some explosive device had detonated within him, with that conclusion Anagwin pulled her body closer to her mothers, Shmi felt Anagwin's fear was strong as her daughter buried her face closer into her tearing clothes. Shmi however couldn't feel Anakin pressing upon her body, so she pulled Anakin closer to her side and said, "look away, Ani" Anakin ignored his mother, keeping his eyes on what was left of the Arcona, Shmi could feel Anagwin's face slide from under her clothes, Anagwin peeked out and saw a few of the guards and the Anx attendant walk over to inspect the smouldering mess, noticing the two children, the Anx turned his long, pointed chin to them and said "that's what happens to slaves who try to escape Tatooine" Shmi feels sickened at the thought he had the boldness to even speak to his children let alone threaten them, Anagwin stared at the Anx in disbelief, she vowed to herself she would find a way off this planet and protect as many as she could as her mothers motto "there are less fortunate beings in the galaxy than us." Anagwin hated Tatooine and Gardulla!
