Anagwin awoke shortly later upon the road to Jabba's palace, she was being carried by one of the attendants. The other three were in front, it was well after midday by the time they reached Jabba's palace. Anagwin felt so helpless as she was being held up to Jabba's palace door! A camera came out of this solid gate, Anagwin thought it looked like an ugly, overgrown eyeball. Moments pass and the gate rose. The attendant carried Anagwin in a rough manner through the gate, she could small an over powering stench. The hall was dark and moist; exactly what Anagwin had seen her nightmare, Anagwin grew very much afraid. The attendants came to a stop, Anagwin raised her head, there she saw a huge slug like alien, this one was slightly bigger than Gardulla. In Huttese an attendant says "here is your prize, mighty Jabba" he threw the child at Jabba's feet; mighty Jabba bellowed "Aah! Be careful with someone so delicate, this ones useful!" Mighty Jabba gave his final laugh saying "take her too her room!" An attendant walked Anagwin up the palace stairs, all the way to the attic, where the attendant pushed Anagwin into the middle of the room; there are two others along this corridor, the attendant smiled saying "count yourself lucky, no slave gets their own room; just so we're clear, your so called "mother" forced you to sleep by her own hand, your mother never cared about you, from here on out, darling, don't ever speak about her" Anagwin stared at the horrible man, Anagwin could feel he was up to no good, Anagwin firmly asked "why not? I am her daughter, she loves me" the man bellowed a laughter, and paused for dramatic effect, as he looked down to the child, he saw a naïve lost little person, so he decided to clear everything up, he did feel sympathetic for the girl after all she has just lost everything in one day, however she was only a slave, like he was and mighty Jabba must have order, so he told Anagwin in a calm, low voice "*sigh* for the simplest reason, because she never fought for you, she protected your brother, she gave you up without a fight, if you speak of her it will only make you sad, then what good will you be to the mighty Jabba? What good would you do by living? Don't think of her anymore and the mighty Jabba will see to it, that you have a good life." With that he left locking the door, knowing he had done all he could to ensure the finally was broken forever.

Anagwin fell to the ground in tears, she could feel within him some truth of what he had told her; Anagwin could no longer function her grief kept all light out of her sight, for the slave who had seen Anagwin before, at Gardulla's estate had come to comfort Anagwin however Anagwin could not see her. Anagwin was but three years old, she had only been with Gardulla for four months and two days. Anagwin had been locked in that concrete box for one rotation, locked with her grief and feelings of abandonment, that however was the last time she cried in over fifteen years.

When the electrical door opened, Anagwin saw a familiar face, this woman had been with her for the whole rotation, Anagwin found a new mother; slave Ti-Rany the Tholothian became Anagwin's protector and mentor. Ti-Rany gave Anagwin a big hug, and whispered "you will never be alone" Anagwin embraced Ti-Rany tightly drying her eyes on Ti-Rany's clothes, Ti-Rany bought life and hope back into the child, Anagwin realised where ever she is, at any point in time, she will never be alone. Anagwin resolved within herself to always find those worth having close by, her mothers words rang in mind "you will never be alone, all you have to do is open your mind and see, even in the darkest hour, there will always be someone near by who may need your help, or perhaps, of your lucky help and friendship is right in front of you, always." Anagwin may have lost her real mothers love, but Anagwin was not going to allow herself to be forgotten and unloved, she decided to be bold and strong, never again would Anagwin be pulled or pushed away from those she loved, Anagwin would become free, and she had a few ideas.

Ti-Rany led Anagwin to mighty Jabba, there he got her to fix the droids that had been discarded by his attendants to prove to himself and to others she was worth keeping. Anagwin fixed all twenty seven droids; impressed, mighty Jabba sent her down with Ti-Rany to fix all the appliances in the kitchen, so Anagwin merrily went down to the kitchens with her new best friend.  Anagwin even though enslaved had a free spirit.  At night before she could be forced to her cell, she gathered all the metal she could, Anagwin was determined to build a pod racer to prove she could fly in the races, also that way she could be free for the few hours she raced.  Anagwin was ready to find anyway out of her slavers condition.  Ti-Rani heard a strange dragging noise behind the slavers entrance door, when Ti-Rang investigated she saw Anagwin pulling a large hunk of metal behind her, "Anagwin, what are you doing?" Curiosity she asked, Anagwin let the metal fall to the ground and excitedly she bounded up to Ti-Rany and whispered "I'm going to make a pod" Anagwin's voice went from a whisker to low high pitched noise, Anagwin was excited for she knew what she was doing was so wrong, that's what gave her the thrill and more reason to succeed, Ti-Rany however did not share in her enthusiasm, quite the opposite actually, Ti-Rany was horrified to hear what the child was doing, "what!" Ti-Rany growled, Anagwin felt disappointment, she wanted her best friend to be pleased with her, in Anagwin's mind Ti-Rany never minded in fact Ti-Rany helped, a little, Anagwin didn't want Ti-Rany to be mad at her, so she sadly explained to Ti-Rany "well, I want to race, I can you know, I want to prove to mighty Jabba, I thought you might want to help?" Anagwin asked with a hopeful glee, but Ti-Rany was afraid, she had to do what was right to keep the child she had grown to love safe, so Ti-Rany sent her to bed, Anagwin obediently listened to Ti-Rany for Anagwin knew she was very mad with her, Anagwin didn't like this feeling that Ti-Rany was not hiding from Anagwin, Anagwin wanted to please Ti-Rany but didn't understand how she could. Anagwin's bedroom was the middle cell, a small concrete box, up in the tower of the palace, with a forty centre meter by forty eight centre metre window, which has four bars vertically down the window.  Anagwin's bed was only a metal slate attached to the wall.  Anagwin spent the nights plotting her own escape which included building a bomb detector using abandoned materials from the other rooms, Anagwin will be free, she is determined to be, it has taken two years of plotting, stealing and building to make this detector, by building this detector she will be able to be free and she hopes very much this will win Ti-Rani's favour for they both will be able to leave without being blown up.
