Part 5

One day,his best friend, Clark,introduced him to smoking.
Since Clark introduced smoking to James, he became addicted to it, and developed lung cancer, which he didn't know, that he has developed lung cancer.
He only knew this, when he went to the doctor, because, he felt pain in his chest and he kept on coughing.
He stopped using ciggarettes, but it was too late
One day, Sofia called his dad and said "Hi dad, we miss you, where is our souvenirs? " James replied " dont worry I have it here, Sofia". Dawn said " how are you doing, James?" James replied " Im alright dawn".
After 3 years.
He went back to the Philippines for awhile to bond with his family, with his souvenirs for Sofia,Jack and Stephanie.
One day, it was dinner time, he fainted while eating, because he can't breathe properly.
Dawn became shocked and quickly brought James to the hospital, to check what happened to him.
After he was checked, the doctor said " Ms. Jackson , your husband has lung cancer, which wasnt treated properly.
Dawn, Sofia, Jack and Stephanie cried.
Dawn asked James " Why did you keep this secret hidden from us for 3 years?" she said sadly,
James replied " Im sorry Dawn, I just didn't want to make all of you very worried about me, when you are recovering from a condition, 3 years ago". James said sadly and ashamed.
When it was time for the treatment for James for his lung cancer.
He felt a bit good and happy again.
Dawn was so happy, to see his man back to his old self again even with this condition.
Time passed by that
Jack and Stephanie graduated grade school as Valedictorians and Sofia graduated high school as a Valedictorian as well.
They lived happily even if they are in a condition because they never gave up, no matter what happens.
