Chapter Two

I arrived at Hollywood Studio where I my call backs were held. I went in and I aced it! I got the part of Juliet Capulet. Yeah, Hollywood is doing a rendition of Romeo and Juilet, but modern version, I read the script and I completely fell in love with the whole story line. So apparently I have to go to dinner with my co-star Alex Brooks. I agreed since that way, we could get to know each other…it’s a great ice breaker.

I went home and did some research on him. I went on Google and typed his name. Turns out it’s his first movie too. Same as me. ‘Wow’, I thought to myself. ‘We have some things in common. He’s 21, a year older than me. He was born here in Los Angelos, same as me. It says here that he likes to dance…just like me.

“Wow, we have similar interests…” I said out loud.

My cell phone rang, it was a text from Nick, ‘Babe, I’m heading on stage now, I just wanted to say, I love you…’ I smiled as I read the text. He’s sooo sweet…. I texted him saying Break a leg and that I love him too.

I went to take a shower, when I got out, I checked my cell phone and a text from an anonymous number was there.

‘Hello Juliet, it’s Alex Brooks. So we’re heading to dinner tomorrow night? I can’t wait to meet you, text me your address and I will pick you up at 7 (:’

“Wow…he texted me first…I thought I had to text him…hm…he’s full of surprises…” I said to myself.

‘Hello Alex, I’m actually surprised you texted me first to be honest. But I can’t wait to meet you tomorrow night. Here’s my address 1232 5th St. Apt 30, Los Angelos. I’ll be ready at 7 (:’

I sent him the text and I headed for bed. I woke up to a text from Nick. I smiled as I read his text

‘ Good morning beautiful! I wish you could ‘Fly With Me’ to see all these amazing fans…but you have a movie to shoot, good luck! If you need anyone to talk to while I’m not there just call me okay? I love you!’

Wow. Nick usually never texts me this much…awe, that so sweet of him. I texted him that I have a dinner date with one of my co-stars…he asked me who he was and then he was fine with it. I got up from bed, looked at my clock…it was 11 in the morning. I decided to call one of my best friends, Jen Montez. She’s also an actress, but a singer as well.

“Jen!”

“Juju? How are you?!”

“I’m great! Hey do you want to hang out today…I have LOADS to tell you…”

“Okay sure, I’m just about done with filming for today…yeah why not?”

“Okay cool, I’ll meet you at the mall in about an hour?”

“Okay! I’ll see you there!”

“Jen!” I said running up to her.

“Juju!!!” She said running up to me.

We hugged, then laughed.

“So how have you been?” Jen said as we walked towards Charlotte Russe.

“Oh you know…Nick…and a new movie I’m about to star in…” I said eyeing her from the side.

She got wide-eyed, “Oh my gosh! What movie?!” She asked.

“It’s like a rendition of Romeo and Juliet…” I whispered.

“Whoa, really….so you’re Juliet of course…who’s your Romeo?” She asked while we were looking at clothes.
