Chapter Six

She gasped. “Nick…I—“

I grew quite nervous because she paused for what seemed like the longest time.

“So….is that a….” I started to say…

“Yes.” She said with a shocked look on your face. Then she relaxed into a sweet smile. “Yes, in every language…Si, Oui, Ja, Sim, Ken, Hai, Da….every language…” She said.

I smiled relived. I got up and placed the ring on her left hand third finger down.

“Nick, it’s beautiful…” She said as she looked at the ring that decorated her finger.

“Yes, yes you are beautiful..” I said smiling at her.

She looked into my brown eyes as I mirrored hers…we shared a passionate kiss as fiancée.

“Awe, Nick…I feel like I want to cry!” She said smiling but tears were slowly falling from her eyes.

I chuckled, “No don’t…You’ll ruin your beautiful make-up…” I said wiping the tears away from her eyes.

She kissed me again, “This is the start of a beautiful new year…” She whispered in my ear.

*Juliet’s P.O.V.*

So, Nick and I planned our wedding to be on April 30 of this year...I’m so excited! We have everything planned already. Today’s the day I’m going to send out the invitations! I have Jen as my maid of honor. My cousins are my brides maids…I have 3. Nick’s brother’s are his grooms men, of course. We’re going to get married in a cathedral. The reception is going to be held at Marriott’s Ballroom.

“Juju? Are you sure you want to invite him?” Nick asked me as soon as he saw his name written on one of the invitations.

“Yes, I want to invite Alex…why wouldn’t I? He helped me…plus I wrote a little message in there for him asking him if he could sing at either the wedding or the reception…” I said in almost a whisper.

“What?!” Nick panicked.

“Oh come on Nick, he told me he can sing…we’ll just have to hear it ya know?” I said as I put the invitations in my purse. “I’m gonna send these out now…I’ll see you when I get back…I love you!” I said as I kissed him on the check.

He sighed, “Okay…If you’re sure about this Juju…” Nick said as he kissed back.

*Alex’s P.O.V.*

Today’s the day I see Juliet for the first time in…about 4 months. Next week is their wedding…Ha, they’re getting married. I thought with venom because she’s getting married to Nick…not me.

I got out of the car to where Juliet, Nick, and I were supposed to meet.

“Alex!” Juliet said coming from the studio door. She came up to me and hugged me.

I hugged her, tightly. “Juliet…I’ve missed you…” I whispered in her ear.

“Me too…” She said as we broke apart.

“So are you ready to show us what you got?” Nick said as he came and put his arm around Juliet.

“Uh yeah…got a piano?” I asked crossing my arms.
