Harry's POV
"Your 13!" Gemma yelled, " you don't need a girlfriend!" I couldn't help but laugh. She had a boyfriend at 11, but of course I didn't say that. I ignored her and ran up to my room.
Louis' window was open and he was sitting at his desk. "Psst! Lou!!" I yelled. He groaned walking over to the window. "Harry! I'm busy, what?" He said annoyed. I pouted, "sleep over? We don't have school.." He nodded. I couldn't help feel exited, Louis stopped sleeping over. Stopped talking to me much. He was always busy with school or music. The days he wasn't, I was. Of course we were in the same classes, but we were both really popular and had lots of friends. We were still best friends, but just not as close.
Louis' POV
I got so exited when Harry asked me to sleep over. Yeah we seen each other every day, but still. He was always with his new girlfriend, to busy to notice me. He was so involved with Casey it was like I didn't exist.
"BooBear!!" I heard him yell from the window, "hurry!!" I laughed to myself, Harry was never in patient. "Boo!! I'm cold, hurry faster!!" He whined. I slowly walked over to the window, just to bug him, then into the tree. He watched me carefully not saying a word. Once I was close enough to the window, he pulled me in as fast as he could. I gasped, landing on him.
"Harry!" I giggled. Wait! Giggled.. I don't giggle. I was laying on top of him, my head was rested on his chest. I could stay here forever.
Wait, no. No I couldn't.
"Get off your heavy!" He groaned. I fake pouted, "fine I'll go then!" I stood up and marched to the window. "No!!" He yelled throwing his arms around me. "Stay.." He whispered so I could barely hear. I nodded into his neck and wrapped my arms around him.We stood here for what felt like hours, till some one knocked on the door. We slowly pulled apart and Harry yelled 'yes'. Gemma walked into the room with two plates. "Hi Lou! I had a feeling you'd be here.." She said glancing at Harry, who's cheeks were slightly red.
Gemma had moved back in with Harry's mum when their dad past away. Harry was only 11, but he didn't know his dad so he never really cried about it till the funeral. He asked me to go with him and of course I went. They started playing pictures of him holding Harry and playing with him, that made him really upset. He cried through the hole thing, holding my hand and hugging me. I slept over that night and Harry woke up several times in the night to cry. After that it was like it never happened, he never said anything about it. It suddenly struck me, that's when we started drifting apart.
"Lou?" Harry asked. I finally snapped back to reality, "hm?" He was staring at me giving me a funny look.
"What were you thinking about?" He asked drinking some water.
"Uh.." I mumbled "the funeral.."
Harry froze and looked at me in shock. "T-the wha-" he stuttered, "w-why?" I gulped, I should have lied. Harry's eyes looked sad, I knew he hated the subject. "That's when we started growing apart.." I managed before chocking up, "I can't.." I up off the chair and dashed for the window. Right before I climbed out I heard Harry mumble, "I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to." I stood at the window, tears pouring down my cheeks, I couldn't look at him. "It was so hard for me.." He sobbed, "I don't know why I pushed you away.. Maybe it's cause you were there with me or something.. I don't know Lou, but I'm so so sorry.." I heard Harry get out of his chair, his footsteps got closer. I wanted so badly to tell him to sit back down, but I couldn't find my voice. I felt his hand on my shoulder, he slowly turned me around to face him. His eyes were red and puffy, his cheeks were tear stained, and his hair was a mess. When he cried he would pull on it making it messy and make his head hurt. I couldn't stand it anymore. Before he could say anything else I wrapped my arms around him, crying into his neck. "I hate you, ya know.." I half laughed, half cried.Harry and I were laying in his bed, no one had said anything. His tv wasn't on, there was no music playing, nothing. Just complete silence. We were both on the very edge of the bed, not facing each other. "Lou?" He whispered, but I didn't respond. I squeezed my eyes shut and slowed my breath. His arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me in the middle of the bed. I felt his cold lips on my forehead, but in a second they were gone.
"Aww you kiss his head just like mum does to us!" Gemma whispered, making Harry jump. "Ugh Gem.." He hissed. She giggled. "I've been doing it since we were little.. 5, I believe. I can't help it?" He said, but it sounded like more of a question, " it doesn't matter.. Get out." She sighed, "night H.."
After she was gone a waited a minute. "That's nice to know.." I mumbled, opening my eyes. Harry gasped, "y-you heard t-that.." I nodded, turning to face him. His cheeks were bright red, he shoved his face into the pillow and groaned, "you could have said something!" I giggled hugging Harry. "I didn't feel like it? But it's okay Hazza!" I whispered into his ear, "I don't mind.." He glanced up at me smiling, dimples and all. I couldn't help but poke at them.
"Lou! Wake up!!" I heard Harry's high pitched whine, "I can't sleep.." I say up shaking my head, the clock read 2:37am. "Go to bed!" I groaned pulling the big black blanket over my head. Harry huffed, clearly unpleased with my response. Pulling the blankets down a bit I opened my arms, in seconds he was in them. He dug his head up to the crock of my neck and sighed happily. Why did he have to be so cute? What? Cute? Um no.. What is going on!!
