Chapter 9
****Chaos' rose to it's true form. Black silk slithered down the figures torso, falling. Obsidian fingers pulled away as the figure was lifted by pure darkness, raising it higher. Away from the nothingness it previously slumbered in. A cloak appeared, shrouding him.
Zeref then opened his eyes.

"Are you certain this is safe?" Gray whispered.
The Path of Gurandine lead to a cluster of places. However the principal destination was the Doors of Marvell. The application of these doors were to be used by Mavis' Guardians to go in and out of Mortal Realm freely without being impeded by other causes.
Time had elapsed, and wanting grew stronger. The two keepers of time decided to go on another cute date!
Cute date... To your world. (Foolish, I know!)
"I assure you, it is safe! Come along, all we now needed to do, is open these doors and..." Natsu gulped before bursting the doors open and dragging Gray through them.
"How do you even know it is safe?!!"
The inside of Doors of Marvell could be simply described as hideous. It was tarnished with human greed; which could never be satisfied. The grounds were tainted with their own blood. Blood of which they had spilled themselves. In front of the two, were billions and billions of minuscule doors. The walls were lined with keys. Keys used by the Guardians to open a different door. The ceiling however, was floating with colours. Bright, blinding and burning colours. It symbolised human dreams.
"'Whats up?' Just stare at the ceiling and you will be fine!" Gray muttered as he clung to Natsu like a koala to a tree.
"Just run!"

What shocked them first was the sun.
The scintillating star, illuminated the world. It gave warmth and comfort. The sun like a golden coin, sat triumphantly in the sky. It also caused to the two to turn slightly blind after staring for a tad bit too long.
The morning dew glistened on the grass they were standing on. Evergreen trees sprouted from the ground here and there. Flowers blossoming from trees and small animals stopping and staring at the magical creatures that had just appeared.
"A park, right?"
"I- I think so..." Gray replied.
A few mortals were jogging around the area. Children swarmed metal figures stuck to the ground. Flocks of birds soared through sky.
"Those birds, flying so high. I am certain they shall one day reach the empyrean."
A/N: empyrean- highest part of heaven and is a realm of fire- I think the Greeks thought this.
"This coming from the man who lives in hell, how ironic. Anyways, have you noticed we look out of place. My garments do not seem to be something of the norm here." Gray began to scrutinise every mortal who ambled by. Some stopped and stared. The grass he was standing on began to freeze and become sharp stalactites.
