Emily was in her last year of college. she had a nice group of friends, great teachers who loved having her in class because she always got straight A's and always did as asked. She loved her friends But this year she was planning on making some more, she wanted to socialize a little and felt like she might need to start looking for a girlfriend. She has been single for almost 2 years now, it was time to get over her break up with Paige.

" hey Em!" Hanna yelled from across the hallway.

" what are you looking at?" The blonde girl watched Emily. She was looking towards a wall full with papers to join the chearleaders, musiclub called " The Acapella's" , movie theatre club, a club called " stereotypes" which was apparently for people that are against stereotypes a dancing club and a sort of " computer class".
" I am looking for a club to join, I just don't know which one"

" well, The Acapella's you should Not join, that's for sure" Hanna said with a playful tone.
" what? Why? What's wrong with my singing?" Emily said as if she didn't know her voice wasn't good enough to go professional.
" I've heard you sing, you should keep that for in the shower" she said and winked at Emily as Emily laughed.
" okay than.. What should I do?"

" I wanna make new friends and..."
" and maybe meet someone special huh?" Hanna finished the brown haired girl's sentence.
" well, not especially for that.. But if I meet someone, that'd be a bonus"
Hanna frowned her eyebrows and looked at her.
" okay okay, it would be extremely nice to meet someone"
" I can't blame you, you've been single for so long now, I know that break with Paige was hard so I'm happy you're finally taking a step" she gave Em a comfortable look and pointed her finger towards the stereotypes club.
" I have no idea what this group is, but it does sound interesting" she started reading " are you someone that's tired of stereotypes and supports equality and human rights? You are at the right place! You can sign up here"
" it does sound interesting.."
" yeah and you're all in for equality and stuff so you'd totally fit in!"
" that's true " Emily said as she grabbed a pen and signed the paper to join.
" There you go" Hanna said " now, can we go to lunch, because honestly I am starving" grabbing Emily's hand and pulling her towards the cafetaria.

"Oh look who's here.. Watch what you eat muffin" A blonde girl said as she saw Emily and Hanna sitting at their regular table.
" Hey look Em, It's the rich bitch" Hanna said with an annoyed voice while looking at the blonde girl

"Hanna be nice, hey Alison" Alison simply looked at Emily and walked away. " ugh she's such a bitch" Hanna sighed.

Alison was the head chearleader and therefore also the most popular girl, she's always rude to the girls. They never did anything wrong to her. Infact Alison used to bully Hanna for being overweight. Hanna lost allot of pounds, but she still has allot of insecurities and Alison is well aware of that and loves using it against her. "I know she's a total bitch but just shake it off, she's not worthed." Emily said to calm her friend who's head turned red from anger. " yeah I know, but it's so hard"

The school bell rang and everyone had to go to class. The rest of the day Emily and Hanna spend together talking about how hard school was gonna be this year. Last period was over and Emily had her first meeting with the stereotypes group. She was very excited about it, she didn't really know what to expect but she was sure it was gonna be amusing.
She walked into a room full of people she didn't know, " hey you must be Emily!" A small girl with brown hair walked over and gave Emily a kiss on her cheek " Wowww" Emily pulled away quick. " Is that how you greet someone for the first time?" Emily said laughing awkwardly.
" Sorry for that, that's Tracy she's a bit.. Uhm.. let's say she likes affection a little too much" a girl with emerald green eyes walked over and shook Emily's hand " I am Lauren"
" nice to meet you Lauren"

" this is Maya" she pointed to a girl who had the biggest smile on her face, she had a darker skin color, brown hair, brown eyes and a cello with her. " Hi Maya" Emily smiles polite followed by a smile back.
" this is Lucy " pointing towards a girl with hazel eyes and a pretty unusual clothingstyle, she was wearing forks as earrings, a black skirt with a red tank top, a part of her hair was colored pink.
Emily wanted to say hello, but noticed the girl was too busy with her iPhone, so she just smiled at Lauren who was ready to introduce the next person until she got interrupted by a blonde figure walking into the room.
" hey are we ready to do this?!" without even looking Emily knew who this was
" Alison?!" Emily said a little too loud.
" Emily?!" Alison looked a little shocked by Emily's presence. " What are you doing here?" The blonde girl asked.
" uhm I think the question is, what are you doing here? I didn't know you were interested in this sorta clubs."
" Why wouldn't I be?"
" you're a cheerleader.."
" what is that suppost to mean?" You could hear Alison was offended.
" uhh nothing.." Emily shook it off, Alison simply turned her head and watched how the rest watched their heated conversation.
" so uhmm.. I was introducing Emily to everyone" Lauren said quietly not sure wether she should be talking or not.
" so that's Maya, that's Dinah, Camila, Tracy, Lucy, Lauren you met and obviously you know me."

" unfortunaly" Emily whispered in an undertone to herself.
" what was that?" Alison asked.
" nothing" The brown eyed said annoyed while watching Lauren giggle a little.
Everyone took a seat, they were sitting in a circle.
" so does anyone know what this group is really about?" Alison asked.
Everyone nodded their head.
" okay, so first of all, who knows what a stereotype is?"
" Stereotypes are people who are putted in a box for who they are or how they are" the emerald eyes looked at Alison for correction. " that's right, A stereotype is used to catergorize a group of people. When people don't understand a certain type of person, they put them into classifications, thinking that everyone who is that needs to be like that. Kinda like when people say women can't drive, or all men are strong, all goths wear black, that kinda thing, has anyone ever felt like someone did that to you?"
" uhm.. I have, " Maya said hesitating to continue, " go on " Alison said.
" I am a Muslim.. And I feel like everyone treats me like I'm a terrorist, there are people who barely know me who act like they're scared of me or as if I am gonna hurt them, it's rediculous.. "
" I think I have too" a blonde girl said looking at Maya " I am blonde, and everyone think I'm stupid simply because of my hair color, that's not true. I hate it when people joke about that"

" I have too" Emily said, a moment of silence entered the room.

" There has been said I can't be a lesbian. Because I am not butch, I'm a girl who loves to paint her nails, watch soppy love stories on tv, cries when there's a wedding on, likes to wear make up and wears dresses, so people say to me that I'm going through a fase, which I know isn't true because I have known I love girls for ages now, the more people say it, the more it hurts because they are putting me in a box for who I am and I don't like that. "
Emily got everyone's attention because of the fact she got really emotional, she even got Lucy to look away from her iPhone screen.
" I am a lesbian, it was hard enough to admit it to myself, but everyone keeps making it harder by telling me I can't be gay because I'm 'femme' whatever that means.."
Alison who was sitting next to Emily took her hand " hey, it's okay" she whispered and turned her head towards the group of girls who were sitting in the circle " I think we all once felt like that, right?" Everyone nodded. " this is a safe space, you an tell everything and we won't judge you. it's why I created this club, from now on this club is somewhere we share things, and feelings, I want everyone to feel good and feel like they are not alone."
Emily was suprised, this was the sweetest Alison had ever been.
She never saw or expected this side of the blonde. Who knew Alison DiLaurentis had a beautiful and caring heart?

No one.
