Feelings?

Emily was ready to leave school and visit Hanna, who was probably at home because something happened with Caleb. Hanna never stayed away without calling Emily. Before Emily could step onto her bike, and ride towards her ' sick' friends house she got held by Lauren.

" hey Em, can I talk to you for a minute?" the green eyed girl asked.

" yeah sure whatsup?"

" So, I've noticed you and Ali are getting better friends, I thought you hated that girl? " Lauren said careful.

" I did. But things change, people change." The brown eyed replied in a soft-spoken voice.

" I just wanna ask you something, and please don't be angry with me if it's not true.. are you.. falling for Ali? Like catching feelings? It's okay if you are, it's also okay if not.. I just wanted to know."

" uhm.. Why are you asking this?" Emily sounds slightly uncomfortable.

" I see the way you look at her " Lauren paused for a moment. " you look at her the same way I look at Camila."

there was a moment of silence between the two, Emily was nervously playing with her necklace. She didn't know the answer herself, she felt like she was getting feelings for Alison. " maybe it's just a small crush that's gonna be over soon. Besides why should She make a fool out of herself when the relationship of her and Ali wouldn't work anyways, they're too different, Ali's like super straight and the enemie of her best friend, Emily thought in herself.
" I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked" Lauren tried to make Emily feel comfortable again cause it was obvious Emily felt nervous and uncomfortable. " it's okay, I think I just don't know what I'm feeling myself, I mean I like her allot and she's gorgeous and I can't stop thinking about her, but I don't know what it means.. "
" I'm sorry, I'm sure you'll figure it out. I'm here for you if you need me. I'll see you tomorrow, I'm sorry I asked out of nowhere by the way. But I really wanted to, I just saw the way you looked at her"
" it's okay" Emily said trying to avoid any more talking about her feelings.
They just smiled at eachother as Emily went back to her bike, stepped on it and 'biked' to Hanna's place.
She rang the bell and Ms. Marin opened the door " Hey Emily!" She said suprised. " I wanted to see how Hanna was doing"
" She's very sick actually, you can go see her but it's at your own risk" Ashley smiled at the younger girl, knowing there was no way Emily wouldn't see Hanna. They're such good friends, Emily would risk anything for Hanna that also includes getting a fever.
" I'll just go upstairs" Emily said polite." Offcourse, you go, and if you need something you can always ask me"
Emily smiled and walked towards Hanna's room.
* knock knock*
" Mom I'm fine I don't need anything, I just wanna sleep! Thanks" Hanna yelled as Emily opened the door.
" Ow heyy!! Em!? What are you doing here?"
" ah you know just checking up if my bestie is okay " she said concerned cause Hanna didn't look sick at all, she just looked like she had cried for hours and hours none stop her nose was dripping and a little tear rolled down her cheek. " I'm fine, you're so sweet" Hanna said but she didn't convince Emily " you're not fine.. I know you better than that girl, What's wrong?"
Hanna started crying and Emily came closer to give her a tight hug " No matter what, you're gonna get through this"

" Caleb and I decided to take a break.."
" what why? You guys are great together!?" Emily was shocked, Hanna and Caleb are really great together, they've been in a relationship for so long now, Caleb Rivers was a great guy he cared allot about Hanna, more than any other boy ever did. Her previous boyfriends were all douchebags and Hanna always felt bad, but ever since she met Caleb things had changed. Emily couldn't believe they're taking a break. Because taking a break mostly means a break up. But Emily truly believes they are gonna be fine just cause they're made for eachother. The rest of the night Emily stayed with Hanna watching movies and eating popcorn, she couldn't bare to leave her friends side cause she knows how hard things like these are, Hanna was there to support her and comfort her, during her break up with Paige so she's planning on doing the same with her and Caleb. This may not be the right time but Emily's thinking about telling her the thing about Alison. She wants to tell her how she feels, Hanna is her best friend and she's so used to telling her everything, but this is so weird, it's gonna be a total shock and she also doesn't know if Hanna will accept it, But she needs to know. She always shares everything, so why shouldn't she tell this?
" hey Han, Can I talk to you about something?"

" yeah sure" Hanna didn't turn her head towards Emily she was a little too focused on the movie that was playing on her tv screen. The Fault In Our Stars was Hanna's favorite movie, and even though she already watched it like 1000 times, Hanna didn't wanna miss a thing. " So, I'm kinda falling for someone.." Hanna turned off the tv, " really?! Who is it!!?" Hanna got really excited but Emily was too afraid to say it. " uhm.. "
" c'mon Em, you can tell me" she looked at Emily wondering what was going on in her mind. There was nothing she couldn't tell Hanna, Emily should know that, and she's in love which makes it even more exciting cause Emily hasn't been in love since Paige, who scattered her heart into a thousand pieces. Hanna was afraid Emily wouldn't be able to love someone again after what Paige did. " Is it okay that I don't tell you a name until we get serious or if I figure out a 100% what I'm feeling?" Emily was afraid that may have hurted her best friends feelings, but she really wasn't ready to tell Hanna about her love for someone they both hated a few days ago..
" uh, sure, it's okay.. "

a minute of awkward silence followed until Hamna started talking again.

" Why are you telling me this if you're not gonna say who it is? " Hanna's voice sounded dissapointed.

" I wanted to know what you would do in my situation. Look, I like this girl, but I'm not really sure about my feelings, she's probably straight, I don't know.. I've never seen her with a girl only with boys. She's popular, and extremely beautiful. I just don't know what to do " the blue eyed girl took Em's hand in hers, " just go for it"

"I mean, you should tell her about your feelings or maybe polls a bit if she likes you back. You never know until you try right? Besides if it goes wrong, you know you'll always have me to lean on"

" I don't know Han, it's so complicated"
" it's gonna be just fine, and if not you can come to me, and we'll watch soppy love movies together, Okay? "
Emily nodded and smiled, she knew exactly what Hanna wanted her to say

" okay."
