Emily left without Alison the night of the bowling. She scared the blonde, she shouldn't have kissed her. She knows Alison didn't feel the same but yet she chose to kiss her. "I'm so stupid" she thought in herself.

It was stupid, but it's what Emily felt. She wasn't thinking clear, she was distracted by the romantic evening, the music, the lights, how close they were getting, the deep talks about their family and all the fun they had, the way Alison touched Emily. Her feelings got the overhand.

At this moment she needed Hanna, but she didn't know how to explain her best friend she catched feelings for Alison. She's sure that Hanna wouldn't approve, not that it matters cause Emily scared the girl off. She needs to tell the blonde she has feelings for Ali, no matter what, Hanna's her best friend she deserves to know. Emily isn't good at hiding her feelings, when she's overly happy Hamna would notice, when she's sad, Hanna would notice, that's what happens when you're best friends for this long, you know how the other persons feeling right away. There's no hiding.

Em grabbed her stuff and went to Dennis to get her shoes back. Dennis obviously witnessed the drama that just happened between the two girls.
" guess that didn't go too well huh?" He asked.
" ah, you saw that? "
" it's pretty hard not to if two extremely hot girls start kissing eachother" Emily just smiled at him trying not to get offended by what he just said, the way he said it was even worse, he sounded like a total sexist. Emily tried to focus on being nice but this guy just didn't know how to stop.
" so you're a dyke?" He said extremely unrespectful.
Emily looked at him with an angry face she grabbed her shoes out of his hands and walked out of the bowling venue. She was really upset.

"i can't believe he just said that" Emily was hurt by two things now, Alison and Dennis's comment.
Tears filled her eyes, this night started so beautiful, how could it turn out this messed up?
She called her best friend Hanna, she's always there for her when she needs her to be.
" Hello beautiful lady!" Hanna said not knowing her best friend was upset.
" hey Han, please come pick me up, I don't wanna be alone" you could hear the sobbing and crying through the sound of her voice.
" Are you okay? What's wrong?!" Hanna sounds worried.
" I'll tell you later, please.."
" Yes offcourse I'm on my way, where are you?"
" the bowling alley at 44th street"
" okay I'll be there as soon as possible.
Emily waited, and waited until finally the blonde arrived. Without saying anything Hanna ran towards the crying girl,m. Emily's hands were on her face trying to hide how much she was crying. Hanna took Em's hands from her face " it's gonna be okay " she whispered while pulling her friend in for a hug.
For several minutes they hugged eachother, this was exactly what Emily needed, a big, long, comforting hug from the one person that was always there for her.
It started raining, just as if the sky knew how Emily felt.
" come let's get you into the car"
The whole car ride Emily was silent, so was Hanna. They arrived at Hanna's place where her mother was waiting on her, at the front door. " where have you been?!" She sounds angry and looked worried. Hanna left the house without telling her mom where she was going, so her mom was very upset and she was worried something might have happened to her daughter. But Ms Marin's facial expression changed when she saw Emily crying infront of her. " Emily are you okay? Come inside I'll make you some tea"

Once Hanna and Emily entered the bedroom and sat down on the bed it was time for Emily to tell Hanna about her feelings for Alison. " What happened?" Hanna asked holding one of Emily's hands.
" Look Han, there's something I need to tell you.. " she paused for a moment to take a breath, she was getting nervous and ready to back out again. Hanna squeezed her best friends hand to let her know whatever it is, it's okay.
" I told you I liked someone, right? " Hanna nodded. " Well, that person is Alison.."

Hanna didn't reply for a minute or so, she just looked at Emily, she didn't understand how her best friend could have fallen in love with someone like... Alison?
Alison is the most cruel and annoying girl she's ever met. She calls her "fatty" all the time, even though Hanna lost all the pounds she had when she was younger.
" how.. Did you fall for her? I mean, she was like the one person we both hated.."
" It just kinda happened, she's not that much of a bitch at all, she's very sweet and honest once you get to know her"
Hanna looked both shocked and dissapointed, she was happy Emily met someone after being alone for so long, but she never expected it to be Alison. Oh God, why does it have to be Alison? Hanna thought in herself. But she's understanding towards her friend, you don't choose who you fall in love with so it's not Emily's fault.

" You know what Em? I'll always be here for you whenever you need me, you know that.m and It doesn't matter who you love, I'll accept it,. Even though this one is pretty hard for me to accept, I will. Because you're my best friend.., and I love you." they both leaned forwards to give eachother a hug, " I love you too Han".

" But why were you crying? Does it have to do with Alison?"

" Yes, I went bowling with her.. And I kissed her... She left the bowling alley without even saying anything"

Hanna was quiet for a moment.
" You probably just suprised her, I'm sure everything is okay.. I mean it's just a kiss.." Hanna said trying to comfort her friend. She knew this reaction was because Alison is straight and she probably didn't feel the same way. But she didn't wanna hurt Em's feelings. It doesn't matter that Alison is someone Hanna didn't like, she knows she could use this accident to help Emily get rid of her feelings for the girl, but she would never. Hanna just hopes Alison isn't gonna be the bitch she knows, and be the sweet and honest girl Emily just described.
