"It's getting dark, we should probably stop for the night." Riley suggested, causing me to stop abruptly. "We can't we've stopped too much already. We're too far away to." She just looks at me for a second. "Then why did you stop?" She questioned. I quickly start walking again, catching the princess off guard. She soon catches up, grabbing my hand. "Please, noble knight Maya. I'm tired.. Please.." She looks at me with puppy dog eyes. "Oh! You're tired!" I stop once again, turning around to face her, getting in her face. "I love that you're tired when all you do is sit around on your butt all day! While I'm out, constantly standing on guard!" I get angry, taking out my sword, walking away from her. "M-Maya wh-what-" I interrupt her. "DON'T CALL ME MAYA!" I yell angrily at her as I throw my sword towards a tree, hitting it. The sword now stuck in the tree. "D-did I do something wro-" I interrupt her once again. "Oh NO! Of course not!" I go over to the tree, removing my sword from it. I start cutting branches off the tree from frustration. "Maya.. Please.." She said, her voice quiet and soft. I take my sword, swinging it, almost cutting Riley's throat, barely missing. I pull the sword back, holding it infront of her throat. "I told you not to call me that." I said through grit teeth. I draw back the sword putting it back. "Lets go." I said sternly. "But-" she start. "Now." I said even more stern than before. She sighs as she walks right behind me, probably too scared to walk beside me.
