A Knight and a Princess

I.. Have something worth losing..

"N-no! St-stop playing around. Let's-let's go." I told her as I started walking to the entrance of the cave. She soon grabs my hand, causing me to stop. "I'm not playing. I'm serious. I want us to marry. I know you also want that." She said sternly. "I can't.." I mumbled out to where she couldn't hear. "What?" She asked. "I CAN'T!" I yelled out to her, causing her to take a step back in fear. "But.." She said quietly. I quickly spin around to face her, holding her at arms length. "If you don't marry the prince, a war will be waged against you and your kingdom. I don't want that for you; I'd have to fight against you." I said as I look down slightly. She grabs my hands, looking in my eyes. "But, if we marry, you wouldn't be bound to your prince any more, you'd be with me, fighting with me." I sigh slightly. "He'd have me executed, princess.. Lets just go.." I said as I walked out of the cave, the princess following close behind. She's seen my true colors. She's seen who I really am, how I feel.. And I'm afraid of losing her. How dangerous to finally have something worth losing.
