This picture is of Emily and Pippin💥💚

I walked up the trailer ramp and spoke softly to my gorgeous dappled grey horse. "Easy boy, you're ok", he had broken into a damp sweat and was a bit restless after the long drive. I gently eased him down the ramp and into the crowded car park. He was nervous with all the people around so i took him straight down to the stable block. He was to be stabled in Block C.

I walked along the aisles looking for his nameplate on the door and eventually found it, the last stable on the left. It was a large, airy stable with plenty of sweet hay. I led him inside and unclipped the leadrope slipping the head collar over his ears. "There you go Shadow, this will be your stable for the next while" I said as I rubbed his neck. It was covered in sweat, so I went in search for a dandy brush. I quickly brushed him off and put his bluecooler rug over his back. He jumped sideways at the sudden movement. "Sorry boy, that was my fault" I said patting his strong muscular shoulder. I carefully strapped up his rug and left the stable.

"Oh he is gorgeous" I looked around to see Emily popping her head over the door from the stable beside. I smiled to myself "Thanks, so is your horse what's his name"? . "His name is Pippin" she said gestured toward the big chestnut standing beside her. Shadow walked over to investigate his new stable buddy. They seemed to like each other. When both horses were settled we went in search of our parents, and found out from a teacher that they were in the dorms unpacking. We quickly checked the dorm list and found out that me and Emily were roomies! We quickly hugged and ran up the stairs to check out our new room.

"Ready" Emily stopped outside room number 22. "Yep" I replied and took a deep breath. "1..2..3.." We swung open the door and burst inside. It was a beautiful large room with two doors on either side of the room. The walls were painted black and everything inside was either red or white giving a nice affect. As soon as you walk through the door there is a large white leather sofa with two matching armchairs facing a large flat screen T.V. To the right there is a medium sized kitchen with black marbled floors and a marbled counter and multiple drawers and presses. In the corner a red fridge and freezer was filled with cold drinks and ice creams.

To the left of the kitchen is a white door labelled bathroom in blue loopy letters. Inside was a massive white washed bathroom complete with a small jacuzzi. A small closet on the wall revealed numerous different types of beauty products and sweet smelling shampoos and conditioners. Back through the kitchen and living room to the right is another white door labelled Emily + Rachel in an pretty Aqua colour.

Inside the bedroom was absolutely stunning. Two identical single beds on either sides of the room faced a large full length window with a fabulous view all over the paddocks where our horses were kept and the academy's massive full sized cross country course. You could also see parts of the immaculate barn and one jumping arena where already and few girls were jumping with perfect show ponies. I watched them for a minute and realised how good they were. The horses were perfectly turned out and the riders were flawless as they tackled the jumps.

I turned my attention back to the room. Two desks with spinny black leather chairs sat in the corner and shelves hung above. On the other side of the room two large wardrobes with more space for my clothes than my whole bedroom back home sat beside each other. Beside the two beds there was a mini Aqua coloured fridge and a small cabinet filled with sweets, chocolate and sugary food. The whole room was painted white with a few Aqua spirals and a fluffy black carpet.

"It's perfect" we both screamed and flopped onto the beds. I let Emily choose which bed she wanted and she choose the one on the right, closest to the door. Our parents walked in chatting like they had been best friends for life "Are you two girls ok if we go now?". We said goodbye to our parents and then started to unpack. I pulled out 5 framed photos of me and Shadow competing at some shows last summer and began to display them neatly on my desk along with a few photos of my young horse that I was training called Zinger. I hung a couple of rosettes from the State Championships on the pristine white walls and finally put new bedcovers with little horses scattered on them onto my bed. I took my MacBook and iPhone and plugged them in at my desk, before organising my desk drawer withs school supplies such as pens, notebooks and binders

I glanced over at Emily who was staring out the window at the barn and emptying car park. I took out a pair of cream jods, a navy polo shirt and my long Ariat riding boots and help them up. "Let's go" I said. Emily pulled out her riding clothes from the wardrobe and grinned at me.
