Ruby x Sapphire

Ok so I totally ship it. OTP.

Ruby Pov.

I was having a walk at Yellow Diamond's palace. I went past a few rooms and more.
When I finally reached mine, I realised a new gem had moved in next to my room. I went to check out how that gem looked. It was indeed a beautiful Sapphire.
I walked in, knocking at the wall, because there weren't doors.
Sapphire looked at me.
"Oh, hello..." She murmured.
I answered in a hello, and presented myself.
"I'm Ruby. One of Yellow Diamond's palace checkers."
"Palace checkers?" Sapphire asked.
I nodded. "You know... The gems that make sure everything is ok."
"Oh..." She answered.
I realised some of her hair covered her face, and her eyes...
I tried to remove that hair, but Sapphire slapped my hand, blushed and ran away.
"Sapphire, wait!" I called out, not understanding anything but sapphire was long gone.
I went back to my room, sighing.
I tried to do what humans call 'sleep', but I couldn't; gems never get tired.
So I just stood there, thinking of Sapphire. She was the only gem I have known to be my size. She was beautiful. And blue. I wonder what he weapon is...

Sapphire Pov.

I ran away as fast as I could.
Ruby couldn't see my eye!
She wouldn't talk to me, and I really like her!
I tried to stop, but my feet told me to go on. I looked behind me, and no red gem was following me, so I stopped with a halt.
I waited until that thing humans call 'Sun' would turn off, so nobody would see me.
I levitated to my room. I looked over to Ruby's, it was empty.
She must be guarding...
Then a BAM! Interrupted my future vision I was using to see what would happen if I entered Ruby's room.
A red gem jumped on top of me. Ruby!
She looked at me and frowned.
"Why did you run away? Why did you hit me?!" She shouted. Ruby was angry.
I looked away.
"Sapphire, please... I want to be your friend..." Ruby insisted.
I felt my eyes get wet and blush.
"R- really?" I asked.

Ruby Pov.

I yelled. "Of course I want to!"
