Charlie POV
So it's been about a month of intensive care for Colton and now that sexy face finally gets to come home. Well not home exactly for him to my home. He has crutches and is able to use them but I mean there was an excuse for him to share the same bed as me for a while. I would be stupid not to take it. Since Skyla and Dylan aren't here the place is basically haunted but then again he would be coming even if they were still here. They were supposed to be back a week ago but something went bonkers at customs. So they've been struck in a French jail but their parents are working on it so I guess they'll be back any time soon. I'm making us sandwiches. His favourite: meatballs, pastrami, lettuce, tomato & cheese. And for me, my favourite which is well just vegemite haha. I'm not the type to eat exotic foods but how is a meatball sandwich exotic.
As I bring the sandwiches into my room I notice Rylee and his crutches are gone. I hear him in the bathroom washing his hands. I quickly put the plate on my dresser which is on the same wall as my bathroom door. I squat down next to it right as he stumbles out the door plopping himself down on our bed. Yes I said our because he's staying for 3 MONTHS WOOO HOOO! I wait a little bit till he's settled down. I check to make sure I know where his leg is before I scare the living day lights out of him, hopefully.
Rylee/ Colton POV
Sooo it's been about a month since my accident but guess what. The doctors enforced the idea for me to stay with someone while I was still healing. Charlie happened to overhear this conversation on one of her visits. So now I'm in her bathroom peeing. As I lie back on the bed, after washing my hands of course, I see two feet poking out from the side of her dresser. From all the stories I've heard about Charlie she likes to scare people so naturally I just amuse that's what she'll do. I get scared so fucking easily but since I'm prepared for it she'll think I'm a macho man or whatever women think. I don't normally do this but considering we're only new I don't particularly want my girly scream to be the reason she runs away. I see her toes start to wriggle and I prepare myself. God it sounds like I'm going to war.
She jumps out into a star pose and screams her little head off.
'RAWRRRRRRRRRRR' Charlie yells while smiling tremendously
Charlie POV
He didn't do anything nothing! He didn't even flinch. Rylee's staring at me with this cheeky grin stuck on his face. I'm hoping he's going to start crying because he got that scared but instead he just starts laughing his head off.
'Stop it' I grumble as I grab the plate of sandwiches and place it on the nightstand. I sit down on the bed facing away from him.
'awhh,' he cheekily whispers into my ear as he props himself up onto his elbows, 'what's wrong bub?'
'I really wanted to scare you' I say while shoving him back.
'YOU'RE FREAKING ADORABLE' He screams as he grabs me by the waist pulling me back on top of him. I try to wiggle away but he just starts screaming out.
'You can't get away from me, you cutie pie!!' He starts to tickle me. No matter how much I bite my tongue I can't help myself but to laugh.
I manage to wiggle out of his grip and roll over onto the other side of the bed without hurting his leg. Which I made him give me a highfive for considering how skilled it was.
Rylee/Colton POV
I feel the warmth coming off her body as Charlie snuggles up against me and I wrap my arms around her. I don't know whether it's because of all the drugs that are still in my system or just how comfortable being here with her feels but as I look down into her eyes. I can't help but just let my feelings flow out of me, 'Hey uhm bub. You know I could fall in love with you right?'
she murmurs I know that now as she leans in pressing our lips together.
