Billy's POV

Today was when classes start, and I wanted to see Rae but of course Joey was with her.

I walk over to Joey and say, "Hey Joey." He looks up at me and waves without saying anything.

I rolled my eyes and said, "No bad feelings Kay?" I said sticking my hand out.

He half smiled and said, "Kay."

Rae was just sitting there looking at us. "Go away Tepper." "He's my friend, relax." "And I'm your girlfriend and I don't want him around us."

Joey looks up at me and back to her and says, "How come when we were just best friends you were a nicer person but as a couple you're rude to my friends?"

He looked dead at her and she said, "Cause, couples should do couple things." "Rae, we've been dating for like 2 days, calm down."

She crossed her arms and said, "No I will not calm down, doesn't matter if we were married or a couple or strangers I don't want Tepper around me!"

"Why?!" He yelled, "Cause..." She murmered.

"Cause why?" He asked, She bit her lips and said something, it was barely audible, then he asked, "What?" "I MIGHT LIKE HIM OKAY?" I looked at her and Joey looked at me.

"What?" We both said in confusion. "The more I see him the more I fall for him, but I've been trying to tell myself not to cause I'm with you but Joey, it doesn't feel right, me and you, it just doesn't feel right, we should stay best friends."

Joey looked at me and said, "Or we don't have to be friends at all, it was all going downhill anyway." He walked away from us.

She tilted her head back and had tears in her eyes. I sat next to her and said, "It's okay." "No it's not! I knew this would happen, now I lost my best friend, my only best friend, I fucking moved here just to be at this school to see him and he fucking leaves me." She said with a tear falling down her cheek.

"I'll talk to Joey." "No Tepper, it's no use." "Why?" "He's hard to talk to when he's mad." "Yeah, I've been his roommate for 3 years." I said.

She looked the other direction and said, "I just wish it didn't have to end like that, you know, me and his' friendship." Then she looked at me.

"How long have y'all known each other?" "Since middle school, I was the new kid and nobody ever talks to the new kid, so he helped me out you know, and when the popular crowd wanted to hang out with me, I didn't want to, then a couple weeks later there was some nasty rumors about me that were spread around, and they all started it and Joey kinda helped me through it." She said.

"He's been my ride or die for a long time." She added. "I met Joey cause he was assigned my Roomate when I first got here." She giggled at me. "What made me hate you?" She asked. "You tell me." I answered. I leaned in and we kissed. After a couple seconds we pulled away.
