It was a week from Halloween and my friends and I were planning a party. We want it to be the best party of this school year.

We want it to be in a graveyard. Thank goodness Riley's dad can get let us in there. He works at the funeral home so he has the keys to it.

The graveyard is a really creepy place and is perfect for a Halloween party.

It is a dress up party so I am planning on going as a nerd. I am the exact opposite of it. I am the lead cheerleader at my school.

There have been stories that every 100 years, the ghosts com out and have fun. Their "fun" is killing anyone in the graveyard that night. Halloween night is the  200th year. I don't believe the stories but som people do. Those people who do believe in the stories are not going to be there.

As I walk into school I try and slip by unnoticed so I can get to my friends without trouble. My wish is unfortunately denied and a bunch of people rush over. They start talking all about my party. I sigh and head over to my friends.

Tomorrow night is the party and everything is almost done. We have almost all the food and the graveyard is decorated.

"Get out of here!" I finally yell at the crowd that has surrounded Jasmine, Lacy, Summer, Delaney, Sarah, Riley, and I.

"I recommend that you listen to Amy or else things will happen!" Riley said when no one cleared out. Everyone one listened to her and they scuttled off. Riley was always the violent one and she followed through with her threats. That's why everyone, and I mean everyone, listens to her.

The bell rings and we all head off to our first period.

After school Lacy and Summer came to help me make the food for the party. It was fun by the end I had flour in my hair and frosting on my clothes.

We made cupcakes and other treats that we found on Pinterest. It wasn't as good as the ones we found but it was close enough.

After they left I went up to my room to avoid my parents. Oh, I forgot to mention that my parents don't get along too well. They fight a lot and are planning a divorce.

I sigh and start on my endless homework. Luckily today is Friday so I don't have to finish it but I want as much done because of the party.

I hear my parents downstairs and decide that I have done enough for tonight. I hop in the shower, change, brush my teeth, flip the lights off, and hop in bed. I decide against reading my book because it will keep me awake.

I slip off to sleep with my parents yelling in the background. My life is not as good as most people believe it to be. I guess no ones' life is.
